SOURCE: casio fx-570ES calculator inner screen cracked

There is a faint metal coating on the glass where the cable attaches, you would have to find another screen with the same spacing, of the horizontal and vertical lines, and try to attach the horizontal and vertical cables to that.

SOURCE: Explain the different buttons

Hi,

You request, my friend, is a tall order and I am not up to the task. However, I can provide you with the link to the manual and its appendix, which you can download and save on you computer, or even print. Believe me, you will need them if you want to achieve decent mastery of the calculator.

After you read your manual, if you need help with a particular function I will be very happy to show you how to use it.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

To calculate radicals use the square root key. For higher index roots use [SHIFT][X^y]. You need to enter the index before pressing the key. Or use the general power key but with exponent (1/n) where n is the index of the root.

Hello,

If by calculus problem you mean derivatives of functions, integrals, extrema and such things, I am sorry to inform you that neither the Casio FX-300MS, nor the FX-991MS can handle them. The newer Casio calculator FX-991ES is capable of performing numerical differentiations and integrations. There also graphing calculators by Casio FX-9750G, FX-9860G as well as by Texas Instruments (TI 83 PLUS/TI84PLUS) that are reasonably performant in that area.

Hope it helps.

Hello,

This calculator transforms every radical into a decimal number. It does not perform exact calculations with radicals. For that you would need a Casio FX-115ES or FX-991ES (Natural Display).

Hope it helps.

Hello,

Sorry to disappoint you but there is no special key to (solve) ratio problems. It does however have a key to enter mixed fractions (**[a b/c]** ) and a key combination to convert between mixed and improper fractions [SHIFT] [d/c].

Hope it helps.

Hello,

The FX-300MS cannot handle symbolic algebra. It cruches numbers but does manipulate litteral expressions. Sorry, it does not factor algebraic expressions.

Hope it helps.

Just input #20 then press log button then (2/10 shift 5 (m)) so it will look like 20log (2/10m) = 46.02

log is base 10 by default. You put in 2 (times) log 8.

Log (2) 8 is not the same as 2 log (10) 8. This is not a calculator issue this is your lack of understaing of log.
