Question about Electrolux Cucina Pro 1711 10-Cup Coffee Maker
I've had this coffee maker for a few months now. All worked fine until two weeks ago. I don't know what happened but when the pots are not brewing the lights just blink away on the front of the machine. When I set the program to brew the next morning the light for "set" is solid but the on/off light continues to blink. When it's brewing both lights are solid again but as soon as it's done brewing it starts blinking all over again. I've tried unplugging it for a few hours and plugging it back in but nothing changes. I think it's possessed. Is there any way to reset the machine?

SOURCE: I have the cucina pro
I have found a temporary solution! Mr.Coffee Replacement Decanter model # ECD13 will work if you take your old over and use it with this decanter. The lid that comes with the Mr Coffee is just a hair to short but the lid from the broken craft will work well with it. Just hold on to it when you poor your coffee. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Tumble dryer not working
Spoke to my maintenance engineer at work and he said that most of these appliances work by using float switches. After stripping down and drying out the previous day decided to refill reservoir with water and letting drain back in refilled again 15 mins later till no more water could go back in. Then emptied water reservoir and let the water drain back out into reservoir. Think this must have dislodged the float switch and all seems back to normal.

It might be teh same problem I have. in my case, teh machine works for a few seconds and then stops i.e. nothing else happens. no alarms go off either. In my case it appears that teh door interlocking device is faulty. You can by this spare part for around 22 euro. Replacing it is a bit tricky because you need to take off the locking device(the slot where the door locks into) and redo wiring. DONT mess up teh wiring becasue then you will need an engineer. Before you go looking for a spare part, you can take off teh interlock adn manual try to operate it. do this by turning on a wash and pressing teh two metal parts together on the lock.
