Do you have a a pair of shoes that you bought not too long ago and the sole is coming apart? If you rather not risk buying another pair of the same shoes only to have them come apart, then this is the article for you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • superglue
  • shoes to fix

1.

Get a tube of super glue--any brand name should do. Just the regular type should do, no need for any extra strength formulas or special types. Make sure the tube has been properly opened at this time--the seal on the tube has had a hole punched in it, in other words.

2.

Get the shoe(s) that need its/their sole(s) fixed. Where the sole is coming apart on the shoe, squirt in a good amount of super glue, but not too much that it will gush out. (If it does, try to wipe off the excess).

3.

Hold the sole and shoe together for the recommended drying time or until they seal. Try not to get any glue on your fingers at this time, as it can stick flesh to other objects.

4.
The sole should be fixed at this time. Sometimes it has to be done over if the drying time hasn't been followed or the glue might have some problem with it. Repeat this procedure for other shoes to be fixed

hi
It must have been nighmare for you ,i am sorry for what happend . let me see what can be done inorder to fix your shoes .

Shoe soles can be made out of a variety of products, depending on the type of shoe and its purpose. An athletic shoe will have a different kind of sole than a regular non-sport shoe and a casual.

so first get to know what type soul your shoes ,try removing it off your shoe and drying it undersun or use a hair dryer if it does not dry and it still fee like a soft tarmac then the soul has been damaged badly so try replacing it ,i am sure you will get shoe sould very cheap.

since the tread is also gone it cannot be repair like shoe sould you need to buy it in near by show rooms .before buying just check out what type of color you need .

if you are happy with my soultion please vote 4 thumps up .thank you

I have found that a simple phone call can do wonders! Companies such as Hush Puppies has built a reputation which I am sure they want to uphold, so customer service and satisfaction is important to them. Their phone number is 1-866-699-7365 (M-F, 9:00 - 7:00). Here is a link to their site as well:

http://www.hushpuppies.com/US/en-US/ContactUs/Form.mvc.aspx

I highly suggest a phone call rather than an email. Simply explain what happened (and it wouldn't hurt to say something like "I am a big fan of Hush Puppies and have never had this problem before.") and offer a solution (i.e., you will pay to ship the shoes back if they will send you a replacement pair or fix yours). Companies are more receptive if you already have a solution in mind rather than just calling to complain and vent. And no matter how rude the person on the other end of the phone is, maintain your composure and be abrupt but polite. If the person is not willing to help you (even if they say they are sorry but there is just nothing they can do), ask to speak to the manager/supervisor. ALWAYS get the name (first and last) of the person you are speaking with and make a note of it. If the manager/supervisor does not assist you to your satisfaction then keep moving up the chain.

If after all your efforts they still say "no," then repeat their names and let them know that you are going to report them to the Better Business Bureau (or whatever version you have in your country). Don't be surprised if they change their tune!

Good luck and "walk on!"

Happy shopping!

How can I fix the wedge heels on my fly london Yule boots ?

Take them to a cobbler or a cordwainer. They can fix the heels for you. If you have the material at home, you can do the same. Prime the material with the appropriate primer (TPR, PU etc.) and follow the instructions with the primer about the brush or putting the extra solution back into the bottle.

Tip For Buying The Perfect Football Shoes.

Big brands sometimes don't have the right football shoes for you. Because Adidas/Puma/Nike/Umbro do the majority of the advertising it may seem that they're the only ones making good boots, but lesser-known brands like Nomis can make very good shoes as well (and sometimes doing better than the big brands). Classics like Diadora and more could be your boot more so than a larger known boot.

How can I re-sole a Rieker shoe?

Any cobbler or cordwainer can help you. Ask to see what they will do and ask to see some of their work. I once went to a cobbler that was a ham handed klutz and he ruined a pair of shoes. IF I had seen his handywork first, I might have gone elsewhere!

It is possible for a shoe repair shop to repair them. The one who you saw suggested a solution of taking them back. Did you not want to do that?

Predator 500cc.i was out trail riding and it started to bog down alittle, shut it off and when i went to start it wouldnt turn over. my lights were flickering

First thing to check would be the battery connections. Make sure the positive and negative cables are tight. I've chased problems on several atvs, especially Predators, to find out the battery cables were loose. They will make the atv cut out or bog down while riding and make lights flicker. Let me know if you need anything else, Daniel.

Dont pull themat the heel or you will be in a tug of war. take them out at the arch and it is a lot easier. Lift the heel out and then pull the toe out.

First off, I would return to the store and try again to speak to a manager. There is no reason that they shouldn't take back a pair of boots that you bought that fell apart, as long as it is within a reasonable time frame, I would say six months or so. Be calm and explain the problem. As soon as you start getting angry, you've lost your advantage as a customer and they won't want to help you. If they absolutely refuse to take back the boots or repair them for you, it won't cost you too much to get the soles redone. Any cobbler can do it for around 40$ or so.

This is a question to ask the cobbler. What did they use? Did they prime the surface properly? If you have any questions, have a look at the Renia USA site to find out how to do this yourself.
