SOURCE: I need a manual for a Kitchenaid Food Processor Model #KFP600WH

The Kitchenaid website doesn't recognize the model number you gave. Could it possibly be KFP760? If so, then here's a link to the free downloadable manual.

SOURCE: Need to clean inside of handle on KitchenAid food processor

The plastic for the work bowl / handle is molded and one piece and cannot be disassembled. My best recommendation is to call Kitchenaid customer service to see what recommendations they have. Within one year warranty, they may replace the work bowl at no cost.

Their toll-free number is: 1-800-541-6390.

SOURCE: my kitchenaid processor is not working

The Kitchenaid food processors have a few safety features implimented. If the unit is not assembled properly, this may prevent the unit from turning on. I am thinking this is an issue of assembly because the light is on, so the unit is definitely getting power.

Proper assembly is below:

If it isn't all ready, please disassemble the entire unit. This means removing the blade and/or disc, blade, removing work bowl, work bowl lid, and blade.

Start by placing the work bowl onto the motor base. The work bowl handle should be facing at 9 o'clock, which is out to your left. Rotate the handle downward until it locks in at the 6 o'clock position, which will lock over the center of the button panel.

Repeat the process with the work bowl lid. The blade does not need to be present for the motor to engage, if this is an assembly issue.

I don't have an instruction manual (wasn't in the box) and I don't know how to use the slicing/shredding blades or the additional smaller bowls.

A manual for the FP-14C series which the Cuisinart site indicates is applicable to your specific model is available online:

http://www.cuisinart.ca/pdf/ibs/en/FP-14DCC_en.pdf

See page 8 for assembly instructions. Beginning on page 20 is an included recipe section.

Blade is broken can i get new blade

On the website they are offering a package where you can get a new blade, but it comes with a bunch of other things. The website is: http://www.buythebullet.com/
and this is the package they offer:
Deluxe Upgrade Kit Upgrade your Magic Bullet! You can save even more time and trouble in the kitchen with the Magic Bullet Deluxe package, which includes 2 additional Tall Bullet Cups and 1 additional Short Bullet Cup, plus 3 more Stay-Fresh Re-sealable Lids.
Using the Magic Bullet in our own homes we've found these extra Bullet Cups and Lids come in very handy when the others are being used to store leftovers in the fridge. Plus, you also get 1 extra Cross Blade. And since this is the blade you'll use the most, it's nice to have an extra one around when the other is in the dishwasher. If you have a family at home, the Magic Bullet Deluxe is a must! Upgrade your Magic Bullet today for just one payment of $29.97 (plus $6.99 shipping and handling).

I used my bravetti food processor twice, it worked great. today, I wanted to make some patois, and motor unit did not work. My wall circuits are good, but the motor unit will not turn on. It has never been...

just to go to overstock to get a new one with Low shipping.

I went to my manuals sites and they did not list this brand.

the internet indicated the problem with this food processor was the inability to obtain parts.
I advise keeping an eye on ebay or amazon if you need something in particular. or get an extra used unit for spare parts.

How to attach grating/shredding blades to GE Food Centre FP22

When you remove the regular chopper blade, it should fit on top of the stem. The chopper blade must be removed to use the slicer / shredder attachments.

Food Processor assembly

Hi Janne,

I bought a DCL 8M about 20 years ago and still have the original manual. Mashing potatoes is one of the few tasks that the manual discouraged. The potatoes turn into glue. I tried mashing potatoes with the flat blade and extra liquid. It still tasted awful. I do puree potato soup in batches, First I mash all the solids (potatoes and leek or potato and tomatoes), then add the liquid. For some reason, pureeing the soup works well.

I am sorry I could not be more helpful.

Wont run

If you try the instructions below, and the motor test fails, you can send it in to Cuisinart for a trade-in, but the trade-in will be just as expensive as getting a new food processor (unless your product has an extra-long motor warranty):

You can test the motor by plugging the food processor in, pressing the on switch and using a pen to press the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor. As long as it spins, the motor is definitely good. Next, unplug the food processor. For the food processor to work, you need to have the work bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve all inserted - if one part of the work bowl is not attached, then the food processor will not spin the blade. Once all three pieces have been inserted, plug it in and turn it on. If the blade is still not spinning, then there is a problem with the element that runs from the back of the pusher sleeve down through the work bowl that triggers the motor button. In that event, you can go to Cuisinart's website and order a new bowl, lid, and/or pusher sleeve - if you see any obvious damage to one part, you can order just that one part. If it is not apparent which part is damaged, order the whole work bowl. Make sure you enter your exact model# at Cuisinart's website, because a DLC-7 is not the same as a DLC-7E or 7P, for instance. The work bowl parts are expensive, so I would just write down the part numbers from Cuisinart's website and find them cheaper elsewhere. There is also a video on the website that shows you how to use the food processors - the first part of the video describes work bowl assembly. Once you get this food processor working, it is going to last forever. Have fun!
