Question about Dell OptiPlex GX280 PC Desktop
This happens when you don't have a system 32 [ Windows operating system ] installed.
This happens if you have a system 64 Windows operating system but usually happens when your Windows operating system isn't working properly.
Sounds like you need to either
1 - Run windows repair
2- Run windows fresh install,
You will need an INSTALL DISK with the operating system on it.
If you have the operating disk insert it into the CD ROM or DVD [ same slot ] - please and follow the prompts.
Be sure you have your activation code.
If I go into detail this will take some time so I will see how much you know. If this answers your question then fine - if not come back and add to this solution with your comment.
Let me know if you can get your pc going again with the information I have given you.
Best of it
