Question about Sony ICDP620 Digital Voice Recorder
I have a Sony Ic digital voice recorder ICD-P620 but I do not have in hand the software to download into my PC. I checked online and unfortunately nothing is disponible.
What can I do to solve this problem?

just click on accept and your driver will be there for you to download. if it works and your work is done then bless me that i progress on my job.

Dear friends,
The driver software given with Sony ICDP620 Handheld Digital voice recorder is not compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7.
the fix:
1. go to sony download page.
2. Reach the bottom of the page and select proceed.
3. You will be proceeded to the agreement page.
4. click agree at the bottom of that page.
5. you will be taken to the download page for the latest driver for the above said model.
6. click download.
7.Install the driver as directed in the page.
8. enjoy

I have tried to install all sort of softwares for recognizing the recorder on Windows 7 Ultimate (those provided by Sony's support), but it didn't work at all. The recorder was not recognized.
I have applied an harder solution that took me an hour: using the windows xp simulator as described at this page and installing the application on the simulated windows xp. It worked.

Just like rog-1976, I installed the Sony software (and everything else I can find) and still the recorder is not recognized. I have no clue how to do the windows xp simulator, but i'm about to give it a shot. Hope it helps!

guess my software for this IC Recorder dissappeared, when pclink is plugged in it recognized the new hd, but did not install or find the software, unf. myh cd is 200 miles away, and all I was trying to do was unload the files from the ICC recorder on to my desktop, but no luck. tried visiting sony website to download software or driver for software but none avail SONY I AM SOCKED OUT OF MY IC RECORNING MIND, I NEED MY SPACE AND I WANT IT NOW, PLS POST SOFTWARE ON LINE SO THAT IT CAN EASILY BE ACCESSED ITS THE LEAST YOU CAN DO TO MAINTAIN A LOYAL CUSTOMER BASE
Got computer to recognized that ICD-P620 is plug in but cannot access and no drive letter.
I have the IC Recorder CD w/ Digital Voice Editor on it ver. 3.1.03 and it won't load on Vista Home Premium. Says I have to upgrade my OS but as far as I know I have all the lasest vista updates.

I have the same problem, I a problem installing the software that came with my recorder onto my brand new HP laptop PC. The software that came with the new recorder would not install onto myh PC, it stated that there was a problem with my OS version, I am running Vista Home Premium, I went to the Sony website online and installed the software to install the voice recorder software, however i can't transger any voice files onto my PC because i can't find the driver to install onto my pc for the USB cable. If someone "ANYONE" has a solution to this problem or a link to the driver download, PLEASE send me an email, PLEASE!
Sony has software for the various vista versions including Business 64Bit but even though I was able to install the software, the driver does not work to make the computer recognize the recorder.
I don`t have the software, and the link is not a solution (sorry for my english, i´m from argentina)
