The reason most is that if you replace a battery you have to reset it , if still depletes after one day. You can go to any timex or watch republic stores.. give your watch, fill up service request form.. and the branch will send it to their repair center.. and wait for their call. hope this will help.. this is their customer service nos. 8942035 loc 217 or 219

The Timex Ironman manual and website says to take the watch to a repair facility. Nope! Do it yourself!

How to replace the battery in a Timex Ironman watch:

This is easier if you remove one of the rubbery wrist bands.

1. Take note of the position of the metal back cover. You'll need to reinstall it exactly as you see it in order to hear the alarm.

2. Remove the four screws that hold the metal back cover, and pry off the cover.

3. There is a round metal clip that holds the battery in place, covered with a transparent plastic cover which likely says, "Unlatch to remove battery". Within the center of each clip, there's a small opening just large enough for a straight pin to be inserted. A jewelers screwdrive won't work - use a straight pin. Insert a straight pin into the tiny opening at the edge of the clip, and wiggle it. The clip should release. You'll only need to unlatch one side of the battery retaining ring.

4. Gently pry up the batter retaining clip, then pry up the battery. Insert new battery.

5. Replace the clip.

6. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into a slot which has two "electrodes" or pins - they need to be shorted with the screwdriver to reset the watch. Just touch the screwdriver blade across the two pins to short it.

7. Reinstall the back cover but be sure to position the cover so the alarm sounding place ( a small disc attached to the inside back cover) will reside over the sounding spring.

8. Insert screws.

High-pitched whine sound is the sign that battery is going to run out , the battery is need to replace ,the size of the battery is SR 2025 or lithium replacement 2025,any brand Maxell,Everyready,Toshiba,Seiko and Renata..
This is very easy to replace, you need only a jeweller screw.and a piece of hankerchief.... at the back of your watch there is four small philips screw, when going to unscrew put the hankerchief at the pad where you going hold to open the watch, hold the watch firmly when unscrew to avoid unwanted scratch. If you already open you can see inside tin plate cover the battery,.The battery is in the center ,find the end of tin plate that covers the battery,if you see the end twist it so you can take out the battery and replace it with a new one ,then your watch is working again..
When closing the cover make sure the gasket(black rubber) is in place ,so water can't get inside, then screw the cover.
Dont wory your watch it is 30 meter water resistant..
You can buy the battery in local grocery store ,or electronics store, the battery size is common just give the size number...
i have site for free manual; .

Need to change battery in EH23sa

The battery is actually accessed from the front of the watch.
You should have a "Case Knife" to remove the front bezel.
Remove the band first.
Set the watch in its side. Set the case knife at the groove where the watch band holder meets the front bezel, and give the back of the knife a sharp rap with a small hammer. The front bezel should pop off.
Some watches have a small circular plastic piece that will also come out. Gently remove the movement from the front. The battery (CR 2025) can then be removed from the back of the movement using a small, thin blade. Install the new battery. The inside back of the case should have restart instructions. (Push A -left button once. then push and hold A until hands move to 12:00. Push B once to start reception.
The back of the watch is plastic. Don't try to remove it.
Gently re-assemble movemengt. A watch case press tool is best for finishing assembly. I would suggest taking the watch to a jeweler if you are uncomfortable taking this watch apart. Good luck

My cartier tank francaise watch stopped working after I didn't wear it for a couple days. Do you know how to get it to work again?

If your watch is automatic, then it is self winding and should start if you gently shake it from side to side a few minutes.

Automatic watches do thrive on being worn every day and if left unused will stop after a few days.

If it is a quartz watch, then take it back to the vendor and ask them to fix it.

My watch runs too fast: adds appr. 1 minute every 24 hours

That is way too fast for a Seiko Kinetic. There is no adjustment to slow it down. With time of course it might run slower as the gears get dirty. Maybe Seiko will replace the movement, worth asking
