I have a moulinex food processor. OVATIO AT7
I was trying to make some dough for bread but the mixer bowl wont work, but the blender does.
I have double checked that it locked on properly and am baffled because i had used it a couple of days ago, then used the blender then wanted to use the mixer bowl and it wont work. The motor runs but mothing happens.

Black & Decker food food prodsser wont work help. I tryed everything and it wont work. I hardly ever use it.
I, have you checked the fuse? The little one inside the plug may have blown, I would start there, good luck

Kitchenaid Food processor won't turn on, I was trying to puree steamed vegetables and ground chicken together for my 7 month olds baby food. was working intitially but suddenly stopped and wont start.
The container may have been incorrectly installed in the base or installed but not locked in position. Also, the speed switch may have picked a bad time to fail.

Light comes on wont start
Probably the safety microswitch activated by the bowl mechanism is not being pushed in far enough. Most likely it will need a new bowl or lid.

Cuisinart 7 cup food processor wont' start
Remove the work bowl completely. Turn the machine on and use a pen to depress the dark grey or black button on the base of the food processor. If the motor doesn't spin, it needs repair. If there is spinning:
Make sure the handle of the bowl is facing the front of the food processor. Place the lid tab just to the left of the handle and slide it toward the handle until it won't turn anymore. Remove the pusher sleeve from the lid and reinsert it with the lock facing the front of the food processor. Slide the lock into the locked psoition. If it still doesn't work, replace the third piece on the work bowl - the one piece that you haven't replaced. It will then work.

I've got a KitchenAid food processor whose motor works but that can't process anything. I even tried chopping up a super-ripe banana and it got stuck on that. This processor has two removable parts: a sort of sheath that fits over the drive shaft and then a blade attachment that slides over the sheath. When I spin just the drive shaft, it seems to get as much speed as ever. But as soon as I put the sheath on there, it gets sluggish. It's almost like there's a drag on it. It seems kind of loose or wobbly. In any case, the end result is that the blades move, but not fast enough to cut through even the softest food.
