This styliner is crapt. I buy new clipper, right out of the box it doesn't cut, put a new blade on it, same thing. It doesn't matter how you adjust the blade, it does not give sharp line, and hard to do shape up. Andis Sucks.

Andis trimmers are making loud noise when used outside US
First off all when buying a step down transformer for these clippers or any other electrical equitment make sure u read the label check cycle 50/60 ,and watt transformer need to be the same are close enough,with is hard to get on tha market,get it made custom,I'm a barber and we have a little trick open your andis clipper ,get spong cut it neatly just a bit thicker than the space between movin part and amateur (coil) insert spong between,not centre bit top bit to blade that's where knocking comin from it can cause that movin bit to break,trim spong until u get it quit but able to cut ,note blade will get hot because of wrong transformer and can damage coil

How do i get blades closer on the pivot pro t liners
You really can't move the cutting edge on any andis trimmer blades without throwing them out of spec. I say this to say that if you try (and the blades are not precisely set) it will scrape and cut the skin when you attempt to use them. They are factory set for optimum cutting. If you have found that they aren't cutting as closely or as cleanly lately, it just might be time to replace the blade entirely. I have a set of those, and a styliner II, but I prefer the cutting power of my T-Outliner over all.

There is a power management mechanism on the side opposite of the power switch that looks like a circle with a **** in it. To set this to the optimum setting, plug the trimmers in and cut it on. Next, your going to use a flat head screwdriver to turn the knob clockwise until it clatters continuously. Next, you turn the know back in the other direction slowly until the clattering stops altogether. Now, the "noise" should be gone and your trimmers are set to perform as they did when you first bought them.

It keeps geting hot every time i cut my hair
you should put clipper oil where the blade contacts it's base (near the middle of the base) and spray kool lube or a similar product on the cutting edge.

Replaced with new blades, and now not cutting
 The protective film is still on the blades.( spray with clipper cleaner while running the clippers) Or there's a hair between the blades.......same fix
