Sony pcg-71315l mother board power on ok cooling fan not working but hard disc,DVD ROM ALL ARE WORKING ok but no display,15.6 screen ok.

Main processor [CPU] do not detect all the other peripherals. Any voltage loss can cause this. Your PCs motherboard need to be checked. It will be best to contact the authorized service centre for Sony; in this case. This is not a user detectable fault.

Hi, im using a motherboard asus m4a88td-m and i cant control my fan speed(cpu fan and chassis fan) in any way.... i tried the asus motherbord software it doesnt work, i try settings in the bios(cool and...

You may not have the correct type of fan for this to work. Typically, you need a three or four pin fan (you will see three or four wires on the plug) for fan speed control to work correctly. If you only have two wires, your fans do not have speed control functionality.

You can also have another issue. If you do have a three or four ping fan, you may not have it connected to the correct fan headers on the motherboard for it to work correctly, or you may have it connected to an external fan controller.

My Dell Dimension 9200 makes an accellerating noise when rebooting and the screen stays dark. I kill the power to stop it. I suspect that it is too hot and a fan is running full blast. This first started...

nice comp...
I had the same problem with my 9000...sounds like a plane taking off...lol
if its been a while, and im sure it has.. unplug tower and open the case...im sure there is alot of dust in there...its disgusting how much dust a comp gets inside...either use compressed air from a compressor or you can use a couple of cans of keyboard cleaner to get the dust out...do this outside your home as there will be alot of dust flying around....blow everything possible, from heat sink on CPU to the power supply and your video card, cooling fan and vents and anywhere else you see dust...hopefully that will keep you cool enough...
if not you will have to put a new fan on your CPU
