Question about GE Profile JGB900 Gas Kitchen Range
The digital display for a GE Profile stove model JGB900SEK-1SS is showing an F9 error code & another code. I read on a blog that someone cleaned the contacts on the ribbon cable. I did that & it worked for a while but the code came back. Is it the push button circuit board or the EC board that needs replaced? Can anyone tell me how to trouble shoot this problem? The oven doesn't work at all when this code is on. It worked fine when I cleared it temporarily. Help
Hi, this is a lock switch malfunction and you may need to replace this.Check the wiring to door lock switch (the wire harness may be connected wrong). Check for stuck lock switch.
