This solution is only good if: 1) You are equipped to solder.

and 2) If the trace on the circuit board where the center of the connector is big enough to receive a wire for soldering. If you can answer yes to both, trey the following: Take a length of cable with a connector (about 6 inches long should work). Peel off 1 inch of the outer shell making sure you don't cut too deep to damage the shielding. "Comb" the shield strands to one side. Cut off some of the inside insulator to bare the center conductor. Solder the center conductor to the trace on the circuit board. If you have a crimp connector, twist the shielding and fasten the crimp connector to it. With a sheet metal screw or an existing bolt on the chassis, attach the crimp connector. All you need now is to get a "double female " adaptor to connect your cable system to the new pigtail on the TV. Let me know if you were successful. Good luck!!!

If you have RCA inputs for video and sound their will be a white and red which is audio and yellow is video. If you have a cable box that you use to change channels, this should have the RCA outputs for your audio and video. You will also have to set your tv to select that input to get the cable. Hope this helps

yes 100 % it is repairable ..... but it depends on tv service engineer ..... expert tv service engineer can solve that .... & non experts cannot ........... when tv falls down (like in your case ) ..... on mainboard cracks will develop due to fall....... then many connections (tracks) will get disconnected........ main board has to be observed carefully & then all the broken connections must be reconnected ..... that's all ............. your tv will again works normally ...... chances of tv tube & components getting damaged due to fall is ZERO %................... so approach expert tv service engineer ........

The cable connector has been broken off. is there any way of fixing this without replacing the entire board

With most tv's I've serviced, the cable connector is connected directly to the tuner module. The tuner module may be damaged beyond repair, depending upon how much physical force was applied to the cable connector. I would take it to a reputable repair shop and let them provide you a honest estimate of repair. They may be able to resolder the cable connector to the tuner module.

Cable hookup broken

Sometimes you can replace the rf connector by resoldering it with a replacement rf. You will have to remove the tuner to do this. The big question is did you crack the tuner board or the board the tuner is connected to. You will really have to examine these. In most of my cases a successful replacement rf connector will fix.

The picture just dissapears the tv is still on but no picture ive noticed that if you hit the tv it will come back and have pulled tv apart to check for shorts or semi broken conections and found none

You will have a poor soldered connection somewhere. You will either need to inspect closely the printed circuit board & look for any area that has a bad soldered joint or if you are VERY careful, run the TV on with the back cover off & when the fault shows, gently tap around the board with an isolated non-conductive tool eg the handle of a screwdriver, & if the picture returns when you tap a certain area, inspect this with the TV off for poor connections & then re-solder.

I have Samsung A550 46 LCD HDTV, and Anteina IN Broken

Yes it can be fixed if the tuner board was not damaged. Get an RF modulator, you can pick them up at walmart, and use your RCA inputs in the back. All you do is input your main tv cable into the RF mod cable in, then connect to the out of it with your RCA cables and then into the RCA connect in, into the back of your tv. Or, like you said, you can input your main tv cable into your vcr/dvd then come out of that with the RCA cables, and again into the RCA cable in on your tv. This way you have to syncronize your channels after you do this to get the picture. You know, vcr on channel 3 while your tv is set to input 1 or whatever needs to be done.

Philip TV - Cable connection on back of TV broke off. How do I repair it?

If the rf input is broken off you can usually get the rf input replaced pretty cheap from a tv repair store, if it is the component or composite inputs then you have to replace the Small signal Board which is a way more expensive fix

SHARP TV - MODEL 25j m100

The RF jack is solder directly into the tuner module and as long as it did not break the circuit board inside that it connects to, it can be repaired . Takes a lot of heat though to solder the jack to the frame of the tuner. Sometimes I use 2 irons to get it hot before the plastic guts of the jack melt too bad. Also is sometimes hard to cram the jack back into its mounting hole, may need to file it out some. The makers don't solder these on they are just pressed in and crimped which is why they break off so easily. I recommend using the push on type cables to avoid this problem. Don't forget to solder the center conductor into the tuner board.
Hope Ya Fix It!
