Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player

Is it Possible to recharge AAA battery inside an mp3 player?

Hi,
Out of the portable mp3 players I sometimes prefer the players that take AAA battery for the power. There are two reasons for it

1)You can power the mp3 player with AAA battery if it runs out of juiceand you are in no time/situation to charge the battery if your playeris powered by an inbuilt/non-replaceable Li-Ion battery.

2) AAAbattery mp3 player can last a lifetime. In case of an inbuilt Li-Ionrechargeable mp3 player the battery eventually stops holding charge andyou have to throw the player away once it wears out in 1-2 years

HonestlyI love the super convenience of charging the Li-Ion batteries byplugging into the wall rather than removing the AAA battery andcharging it on an external AAA battery charger

I am trying to get the best of both worlds.
1) Use an mp3 player that takes rechargeable AAA battery (like Sandisk Sansa m240
or Philips GoGear SA2627/37 . I have one of the above each in my shelf
2)Use rechargeable AAA batteries inside it and recharge them by having itinside the mp3 player and connect it through the USB cord to thecomputer

Is this possible?

I have seen mp3 CD playersthat can charge the AA rechargeable batteries inside it when connectedto an AC outlet adapter. I hope the same system works for my situation
(eg: Coby MP-CD521 Personal MP3/CD Player with 120-second Anti-Skip Protection
available from jr.com

(#Battery Rechargeable Function (when using optional rechargeableBatteries with optional AC adapter) - Requires 2 x ''AA'' Batteries (NotIncluded) / Low Battery Indicator )

If you know any solution to my problem please help by replying
Thanks in advance and I owe you

C150 as not working what's solution?

1

Check the orange "Hold" switch on the left side of the Sansa C150, if you cannot turn on the MP3 player or if none of the buttons is working. When the "Hold" switch is up, the buttons are disabled. Slide the "Hold" switch down to activate the buttons again.
2

Press and hold the "Power" button until the LCD screen lights up when turning on the MP3 player. Pressing the button quickly does not turn on the device. The "Power" button is located on the front of the device, under all the other control buttons.
3

Replace the AAA battery, if you cannot power on your MP3 player. To replace the battery, remove the battery cover from the back of the device by pressing in on its tab and pulling it off. Remove the old battery, insert the new battery and replace the cover. One AAA battery provides approximately 15 hours of power for your Sansa C150.
4

Change the backlight settings to conserve battery life. This is useful if you find the battery loses power quickly during normal use of your Sansa C150. To change the backlight settings, choose "Settings" to bring up the "Settings" menu. Select "Display," "Backlight" and then a shorter backlight time. The backlight will shut off after a period of inactivity that matches your backlight setting.
5

Review your music purchases to understand what rights you've purchased to the content, if you are unable to play a track back on your Sansa C150. When you purchase music, it comes with certain rules for how you can store and play it. You may not have paid for the right to transfer the song to a portable media player.
6

Reset the Sansa C150 if it acts erratically or if you have other problems. To reset the device, open the "Settings" menu and choose "Reset All." Choose "Save" to finish restoring the MP3 player to its factory default settings. If you decide not to reset the device during this process, select "Cancel" instead of "Save."

WHEN I TRY TURNIN IT ON IT JUST STAYS ON THE SANDISK 256MB WELCOME SCREEN HOW CAN I UN FREEZE IT?

Reset the device. 1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.
Power cycle the device.
The power cycle discharges excess/residual power from the player; with the use of a new battery, it should be able to power on the MP3 player properly.
STEP 1 - Remove the battery STEP 2 - Power cycle the player 1. Connect the player to the PC. 2. Leave the device connected for about 2 minutes.
STEP 3 - Turn on the device 1. Unplug the player from the PC. 2. Insert a fresh AAA battery into the player. 3. Turn on the player.
