Question about Western Digital Wd 320gb My Passport Elite Usb 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive
I purchased a new laptop a few days ago and my dealer told me to make a Windows recovery drive. I had a spare WD passport 320GB external HDD so i thought to use it. When I was making the recovery drive, Win8 formatted my eHDD to 32GB. Then after some time it gave an error that "Recovery Drive not successful" (something like that). Now I am strucked up. I can use only 32GB of my HDD. I formatted it "normally" a hundred times but I can only use 32GB. Rest is not shown in Properties of HDD.
If you repartition the drive, clearing the 32Gb partition, if the drive is not damaged, it should then format properly.
