Question about Ray-Ban Clothing Accessories

Open Question

Lenses and frames seemse loose and make noise

Are they supposed to be like this or could they be fake? I feel like real Ray-Ban would have better quality.

SOURCE: Oakley vs. Ray Ban sunglasses? Which are better in

I've never had oakley and they aren't really in style right now.
Ray Bans are good and the wayfarer glasses is back in style
as far as luxury brands, well it varies by brand. most luxury glasses are more for show or fashion than function. you really need to just try out different glasses to see what looks good and works well for you. If you want to go that route I would go actually try on glasses at sunglass hut stores and department stores to find what you like.
Polarized lenses are actually really cool. They cut down on glare so you can look at surfaces like metal, water and glass when it's sunny

SOURCE: the correct serial number on ray ban

look at the box your Ray-Bans came in. There should be a recycling logo, as well as a semi-permanent sticker on the box, including the serial number, manufacturer and distributor details, lens and frame type, and the model number of your specific style of sunglasses. If this sticker is missing, the sunglasses in the box are probably not genuine.

How to Repair Ray-Ban Sunglasses.<br />&bull;Replace a lost or missing screw in your Ray-Ban sunglasses with a small piece of wire. Push the earpiece back into place on the sunglasses and gently wiggle a small piece of wire through the screw hole. Pull the wire through the opposite end and push it back through. Push the wire through at least three times and use your pliers to twist together the ends.<br />Fill a small bowl with warm water and set your sunglasses in it. This is a quick trick for fixing loose frames. The warm water heats up the frames, making it possible to reshape the glasses yourself. Remove the sunglasses after a few minutes and gently bend the frames.<br />Hold the Ray-Ban sunglasses in one hand to replace a lens that popped out. Turn the sunglasses over, so that the front faces down and place the lens onto the back. Gently press down with your other hand, until the lens pops back into place.<br />Use an eyeglass repair kit to replace any missing screws. The kits come with several small screws and a tiny screwdriver. Line up the screw to the proper hole and gently screw into place. If the screw won't go in, it means that your screw hole is stripped and you need to use the wire method.<br />Seal broken parts with instant glue. For broken frames, apply a thin layer of glue to one side and push the broken piece back into place. Hold until the glue dries. Instant glue also fixes lenses for wireless frames. Apply a layer of glue to the bottom of the top piece and push the lens in place.

How do you find out if Rayban Aviator are genuine or false? I have a couple of tips, but I wanted to know if there was some extra thing to check. Please do not tell me any obvious stuff like "go to...

These are the markings to check for.

Older Models made by Baush and Loma.

-Ray Ban B&L Made in the USA across the top part of the upper bridge.

-Size Markings on the paddles. (Only if they were not changed out, and are not the wrap around ear frames)

-Ray Ban white logo on the Right eye Lens. (Left if you are looking at the glasses) this should not come off easily like, with a cleaning cloth.

-B&L etched in the lenses, many knockoffs will have it painted.

-B&L engraved in the nose guards

Further information needed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Newer Ray Ban's made by Luxottica

-All newer Ray Ban's sold in the U.S.A will be made in Italy.

-Ray Ban Made in Italy under the top bridge

-Made in Ray Ban made in Italy CE on the inside right leg.

-Correct size and model info on the left inside leg.

-R&B etched in the lenses.

-Ray-Ban painted white on the Right Lens (Again won't come off easily)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Applies to both

-Should not have a mix of the above features....common mistake (Example made in USA across the bridge and made in Italy on the leg.)

-If painted, it should be enamel and should not come off easily.

-Hinges should have a distinct shape, not oval, and should not have any "burn" marks on the metal from being fused.

-The paperwork..sometimes called care book. (not the registration card) should be crisp with a professional work. Common fakes are printed with regular or shiny paper, haphazardly folded, sometimes colors will be bleeding, and or the English is full of typos.

-Mispelled words on the protective case if it has one. This should also match with the glasses. Luxottica with Italy made and Baush and Loma with U.S.A.

-Box is beat up or has Asian characters.

-Hinges should move smoothly but should not be loose. (Older/Used may require tightening.)

-Plastic lenses. An easy way to test this is to direct the car A.C. air at the lenses. Glass lenses will cool rather easily will feel cooler to the touch than plastic.

-Have them checked at a local sunglasses place, UV can be tested too. Many cheap priced sunglasses misrepresent the amount of UV that is blocked. Ray Ban's have a good reputation of Blocking that 99-100%

How can you tell genuine ray ban sunglasses?

Authenticity of Ray-Bans can be seen by some factors but the fake ones out there, for the most part, seem to be real. Please note, not all Ray-Bans are made in Italy. They were originally made in the US. Some are now being made in China.

What shape face do aviator sunglasses best suit?

It depends on the aviator type you mean, since you have two: 1. http://www.smartbuyglasses.com/designer-sunglasses/Ray-Ban/Ray-Ban-RB3026-Large-Metal-II-Aviator-L2846-16200.html 2.http://www.smartbuyglasses.com/designer-sunglasses/Ray-Ban/Ray-Ban-RB3250-Aviator-OO471-16213.html Both frames would look good on almost everybody, although you should be careful with long faces. In that case, the second frame might not look perfect. In addition, you should ensure that the frame color suits the hair and skin color; a golden frame might look very good on somebody with a tanned skin and black hair, while it would absolutely not suit somebody with a white skin and blonde hair.
