Changing the door lock is one of the easiest things to do in a washing machine. Just note which wires go where & get a new door switch.

Sounds like the motor brushes need to be cleaned or replaced. Take the back off the washer, remove the motor and gently scrape the excess carbon or debris off the brushes with a pocket knife. I did this and it ran well for about 50 loads before building back up. I am ordering new brushes now because when I checked the brushes last week they were obviously worn more than 4 weeks ago.

Well I'm sure you have power on machine if not check fuse located at rear of machine below lip.
Next step remove top cover a cheap saftey screw driver set
will do trick not standard drivers.Electrical drawing is located
inside,Photo copy, now locate a cheap multimeter for testing,
don't worry it's not rocket science.Look closely at cables notice all cables have numbers printed. If PWR lamp above switch is on proceed as follows.
Remove power from machine & test on the Ohms scale between
E111 & E113 if you have resistance great i can't remember value! Now put a bridge wire between E121 & E111with closed door should lock when machine is turned on ,if not you can test between V Volt scale ac & you should read about 30 Volts ac Between E113 &E111when you press door release button on front of machine.
Note the switch LB in drawing represents front door you can also
check across this on Ohms scale with no PWR.

SOURCE: my asko w6222 shows F3
If F3 is flashing on the display, there is a
drainage problem. Check:
• that no objects are stuck in the drainage
• that the drain pump is not blocked by foreign
objects. Clean the pump (see the
"Care and cleaning" chapter).
• that there are no kinks in the drainage
After taking the necessary action, run the
Drain program or press the Door Opening
button (key symbol) to empty the machine. If
the problem persists, contact the Customer

If you need to stop or interrupt a program after you start the machine, turn the Program Control knob
to 10 (Drain). Any water in the machine will be pumped out and you can then press the Door Open
button ( ) to open the door. To restart the washer, close the door and turn the controls to the desired
On the electronic control models, if you need to open the glass door during a wash or rinse cycle, press and hold the Door Open button for three seconds. The machine will stop and automatically drain enough water so the door can be opened safely. The program will resume when you close the door. The inlet valve will come on to
ensure the proper water level.
In case of mechanical failure, you can use the Emergency Door Opener located by the drain pump. To use the Emergency Door Opener, remove the screw holding the cord handle (loop) and pull the cord down.
Hope this answers your question even if it isn't necessarily the answer you wanted. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.
