Press down memory key, you'll hear two bips then press the number to storage in registers 0 to 9, press the desired phone number and press the memory key again; that is all you have to do.               Angel from Venezuela

I use to be able to push a button and ask another co-worker to pick up a line with a push of a button, now I have to actually dial the extention # and my night mode is not working. What did she do to my...

Easy settings to reset nothing you should have to call a phone admin for =)
To reset the Internal Autodial buttons (speak to co worker with push of a button) Press Feature * 2, press the button you would like to assign, then the extension (intercom number) of the person you would like that button to dial. That should fix the autodial buttons (the ones you label with names)
To reset the night mode button: Feature * 3 will bring up button programming, then choose the button you want for night mode, then press Feature, then 871 and that should fix your night button.

I am trying to keep the ringer volume at level 5 of my ge 25942 cordless phone, but it keeps defaulting back to level 4?+++

According to the owner's manual, this is a programmed "feature" of the phone. Evidentally, GE believes level 4 is better than level 5 and won't allow it to stay there.

Memory autodial buttons

Yep, all of those commands work, but does your display say something funny like SET LOCK or are you trying to program a line or answer button? If it was an autodial button before, it will program as long as you don't have full or partial lock set on that extension.
