The paddle will not turn. How can it be fixed?

Your drive
belt has probably either broken or come off. Make sure your machine is
unplugged and turn it on its side and take the bottom panel off. The belt is in
there. If it has snapped or come off you'll need to replace it. I have a few
belts that might fit. Hopefully your
belt will have letter/number code on the smooth side. It will look something like this: STS 80 S3M 561 Email me that code to daryl441@msn.com. If I have it I could sell you the belt. There are several videos
on you tube that show how to put a belt on a bread machine and you could
install it yourself if I have the belt you need.

    Ugh! yes some models of breadmakers are in a solid unit plastic case and are extremely difficult to try to get to the broken belt. There are some videos on you tube of how to open those cases but they involve cutting etc. You may not want to go that far. You may want to just replace your machine. I have several good models available at good prices. I have one going up on ebay this weekend that is very nice. All my bread machines come with a 30 day guarantee.

Gates make a drive belt that is the same. Belt number 240J4. I found them for less that $8.00.

What grease is used on the shaft seal on a HB B301 Hitachi bread maker?
It is food grade vegetable grease and is normally fitted within the bearing. If it is leaking, a new container is required as I wouldn't fancy eating grease and the seals have been damaged/worn out. Never use silicon or mineral based car grease. Not good to eat at all and poisonous in small quantities.

If you mean you have an HB-B301 I have that paddle. I have never heard of a HB-D301.

Hi,
If you take the bread pan out of the machine and can't turn the paddle by hand, then the sealed bearing in the bread pan is broken or stuck. Try soaking it in warm water a couple of times to try and free it up. If that doesn't work then it's time for a new bread pan (tub). If you take the bread pan out of the machine and set it on a kneading cycle but the motor shaft does not spin then it is a belt in the machine that snapped or fell off.

Need a bread making paddle for Hitachi HB-B201. Prior attempts to make bread produced miniature loaves. I cannot find the bread paddle for the machine and am looking for a replacement.
Put this number (310187306476) into an ebay search and it will pull one up. These sell quick so be quicker.

I have the HB B301. I bought it from someone who almost never used it (single guy), but I have no manual for it, and I have not yet figured out how to make it work, nor found a manual for it. How would I test mine to make sure the part you need is working? This machine is very large and would probably be expensive to ship, so I would like to test it before you invest anything in it.

If you have found the part you need, would you mind sharing a recipe and instructions for something in your manual - like basic white or wheat bread?
