SOURCE: Hi I have a yaesu

You are going to have to find a schematic for this radio and see what the transistor does. Google FT757GX and it will show up.

The FT-50R is an extended receive, but dual band (UHF & VHF) amateur transceiver. It is capable of transmitting between approximately 144Mhz - 148Mhz VHF and 430Mhz - 450Mhz UHF.

Typically, the radio will provide an audible warning whenever attempting to operate outside of its intended range(s). The manual has a section on maximizing battery life, and can be downloaded below:

No audio output on transmit modelyeasu ft840

Hi,

Are you referring to reception through your radio speaker, or transmission to another station?

If it's reception, then what antenna are you using, indoor or outdoor?

I need answers to these questions, before I try to resolve your issue.

Please reply with as much detail as possible, don't be afraid to ask questions in full detail, the more info I receive, the sooner I can assist you.

Best regards,
Peter

Have you tired performing a general reset (see page 92 of your Operator's Manual). If you have tried this and still have had no luck, be sure that you have established a good ground to earth and that you are not getting a lot of RF back into your 920.

If you do not have a manual for your rig, one can be downloaded here http://www.download.n7tgb.net/yaesu/FT920/man_ft-920.pdf

You can also call Yaesu Tech Support for free/additional help at 714-827-7600, or join the Yahoo FT-920 User's Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/YaesuFT920/

Hope this helps......
