Question about Hobart A200 Stand Mixer
We have had this mixer(Hobart AE200)for 3 years now and it was not new when we bought it. Firstly i should say we use the machine to mix very low water content concrete, so it gets a fairly rough time, and other than the odd greasing it has had no maintenace to speak of. In the past the machine would occationaly not turn on during jobs, this was usually after the machine was in use for a long period of time(over 1 hour), This we put down to over heating. However, recently after being on for just 5-10 minutes if it is stopped and then restarted it will not switch on. Is there something that can be done, a low cost solution would be helpful. I await your response. Thank you Alasdair
As far as I know this is a food mixer. Concrete will definitely cause the overload to trip. Frequent triping has caused the overload to weaken and hence trip at lower values. You probably need to replace the overl;oad
