Question about Lenovo 3000 Y410 Notebook
All modern Windows operating systems come with DirectX installed by default however if you are having problems with DirectX then you can re-install it using the web installer (link below)
If you have Windows Vista you should first install a platform update. For Vista 32 bit install the update from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=3274
For Vista 64 bit install the update from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=4390
For the DirectX webinstaller go to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 The web installer is for XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 and will install the latest version for your Operating System.
