Question about Stanley Hand Tools
I have a ''simple'' box cutter with snap off blades, Stanley QuickPoint. I cannot get the remainder of the old blade series out nor the new multi-blade in. Help.
It sounds like your blade is stuck. You can take a phillips head screwdriver and undo the two screws to take it apart. It is possible the metal slider or the plastic insert is out of alignment, bent, or just out of specs a little and your blade will get stuck. If this is the case you may have to align the internal components or always take it apart to change the blade. With a screwdriver, you should be able to change the blade in less than a minute.

There is a SLOT in the end of the knife. Simply insert the strip of new blages in to the slot and you are ready to go.
Good luck. :)
