Question about Bertazzoni X36 5 GGV GI Professional Series 36" Pro-Style Natural Gas Range

1 Answer

I have a 36" Bertazzoni freestanding gas range (model X365GG). First, the oven temperature is inconsistent. The oven constantly burns items on the lower racks while the top of the item remains uncooked. The temperature is much higher towards the bottom of the oven, which is nearest the heat source. Can anything be done to correct this? Second, the oven ignition is temperamental - sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. Therefore, a trigger lighter is needed, which is not particularly safe.

Sounds to me you may have to clean your gas holes. And replace the ignition switch.

Thanks. Any idea on how to do that? I cannot find any useful manuals for Bertazzoni regarding maintenance (only install).

My Kenmore propane fueled gas oven gives off a powerful strong smell every time it is started. The burners on top do not. Is there any way I can correct this?

this is because the gas is on full before the oven lights
IT is an explosive situation and should be quickly corrected by an accredited gas fitter
the soot indicates an incorrect burn ratio and that will be the major part of the problem

I continue to get code F11 on my Kenmore Elite Gas Range Oven and therefore, I am unable to unlock / open my oven door. I have pressed and held down the STOP button as well as the oven light button.

Your model number should be much longer than 790 30 Open drawers and doors to look for the whole model number around the frame.

With the whole model number you can get more information at Sears Parts Direct. There are parts diagrams and user manuals and you can order parts.

F4 error

The F4 error means that the oven temperature sensor is giving an open signal. Probably the oven temperature sensor needs to be replaced. However, sometimes, the wiring harness between the sensor and the control unit has a fault or the control unit (computer) is bad.

I hope this helps.
