Question about HP LaserJet 3055 All-In-One Printer

HP LaserJet 3055

I will try to explain the problem in english ...

I bought it in November 2006 and got any problem until I installed the new version Windows Vista .

Now, the function Scanner and Fax does'nt work now.  The drivers for the material are OK.

But, there is any communication between PC and LasetJet 3055.

May be, you can help me !

I've upgraded my vista printer drivers and all and it still doesn't work ont he same model. i used to run this printer on a XP but working on seperate computer can be too crumblesome. since it's a plug and play on vista with this printer.. my solution is go to windows photo gallery. under the FILE - hit import scanner / camera. - it will auto read ur scan feature. but before that. just make sure u install a scanner onto ur windows . by going to control panels and set up scanner. - connect printer to computer first when u do that. it will rauto read ur printer. the drivers just owuldn't work but the windos software helps to elimiinate the problem.

The print drivers might be ok but have you updated and installed new Vista Scanner software as well as Print Drivers

Hi there,
Check the IP of the printer, it should be manually assigned, if you are not confirmed,
  1. Press menu/enter .
  2. Use the or the > button to select Reports , and then press menu/enter .
  3. Use the or the > button to select Config report , and then pressmenu/enter .
  4. The printer exits the menu settings and prints the report.
Try re installing the printer software from the cd, or download the full version from the links below for your area

I have printer hp laserjet 3055 and when startup its giving me ( scanner bulb, warming up ) after that telling me ( scanner error 2, turn off then on ) i tried more and more but still the same and some...

When trying to copy papers do not feed but if you scan they will
HP LaserJet 3050z, 3050 All-in-one, 3052, 3055, 3390 and 3392 versatile printer - Error reported: Document Feeder Jam ISSUE: How to correct the HP LaserJet 3050z, 3050 All-In-One, 3052, 3055, 3390 and 3392 versatile printer if this error is reported: Document Feeder Jam SOLUTION:
  • Clear the jammed media from ADF (HP LaserJet 3050, 3050z).
  1. Open the ADF cover plate. c01075161.gif
  2. Remove any jammed media with care.Take out the page gently. NOTE: Take care not to tear the paper. c01075162.gif
  3. Close the ADF cover plate.
  • Clear the jammed media from ADF (HP LaserJet 3390, 3392, 3052 and 3055).
  1. Open the ADF cover plate. NOTE: Check whether all packaging straps inside the ADF are removed. c01075163.gif
  2. Unload the jam clearance component.Lift the two handles with both hands until the component clutch is released.Rotate and lift the jam clearance component, and then put it aside. c01075164.gif
  3. Lift the green handle, and rotate the paper picker until it is opened. c01075165.gif
  4. Gently remove the page without tearing it.If you feel resistance, go to the next step. c01075166.gif
  5. Open the ADF cover plate, and loosen the media gently with both hands. c01075167.gif

How to install Hp laserjet 3055
If the connection is ethernet. Print configuration from Printer.
Manually install printer.
Select computer is on local port
Local port to select is TCP/IP
then type in the network address to the printer.
Driver will still be inside computer.

How can I open the print cartridge door on my HP 3055 once it is jammed? I was replacing the print cartridge and it apparently did not fit properly.
