DWCO44BLP wine cooler does not cool

The cooler stopped cooling, I am wondering if it could be the PTC starter or if the compressor is out Bob

What is the part directly under start relay that also plugs into compressor? it has red wire attached to it.
on the compressor you should have the relay and a start capacitor.

Wine cooler does not cool. Reading is room temperature. Clicking sound like compresssor on an off, but not cooling
replace the clicking component as this is the ptc overload relay for starting and running the compressor,then it will again cool

if its clicking every few min. its the ptc relay.left of compressor is a shield with 1 screw.behind it on top is the relay with 1 wire going to it.wiggle it out to the left .go to repairclinic.com..part#1206838...

The magic chef wine cooler was clicking now will not get cool .
its your ptc relay.its a very simple fix.to the left of the compressor is a plastic cover with 1 screw.take it off.youll see a small box on top with 1 wire going to it.wiggle it off.pulls straight out left of compressor.go to repairclinic.com..type in part #1206838.its about a $27.00 fix. mines been running fine since.hope this helps

Magic Chef MCWC30MCG not getting cold?
You need to replace the Ptc unit attached to the compressor. Go to REPAIR CLINIC.COM and order the following part. 1206838 Ptc relay. They also will show you were it is located and how to replace it. Compressor tanks very rarely go bad. It is an $11.00 dollar part

Wine cooler doesn't cool properly
Few things to check here. If the compressor is not running then the problem may be a bad thermostat or the compressor start device (ptc starter). Most common would be the thermostat on wine coolers. Also need to check if the fan is running. If everything is running then you have a sealed system problem. If the fan is the only thing that is not running that will cause a no cool situation.
