Question about Black & Decker 19" Electric Lawnhog Mulching Mower with Rear Bag
I have a Black&Decker MCC1000 rechargeable lawnmower. Last week or so I mowed the lawn and then plugged it in for recharging. However, yesterday I went to mow the lawn and saw that the recharge plug was not in properly -- therefore the mower did not recharge. I put it in properly and it charged for almost 24 hours. Today I went to mow the lawn and saw the green "all charged" light was on so I put the plastic "key" piece in. It didn't go in quite all the way but when I started to push down on the start lever it dropped in the rest of the way. Unfortunately the mower still did not start. Could there be a different safety piece that got ajar or something? Help -- my lawn really needs a haircut! Thanks for the help! Exact same problem as described.
I have the EXACT same problem with my mower. I called the Black & Decker number listed above, and learned that the mower is under recall for this problem. So call them and find out where the nearest dealer is, and they will fix it for free.
