Question about KitchenAid KEHS01P Electric Dryer

1 Answer

Buzzing noise from my dyer

Hi, I have a Kitchen Aid Superba electric dryer. It spins, heats up, it seems to be working fine. But, except the ultra low heat setting, a loud buzzing noise (the buzzer?) coming from the dryer, as soon as I close the door on every cycle and stays on to the end of the cycle. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks. csopak55@hotmail.com

SOURCE: I have a kitchen aid model keys777ezo and does not dry .. if I open the door and hold the door interlock closed and start the dryer I smell something like a heating coil but cannot see any glow from t

This caused by one of two possible things. Either you have poor air flow, or a clogged vent preventing air from flowing freely and therefor making the dryer short cycle, which in turn will take you two or three times to dry yor clothes, or the heating element has gone bad, burnt in half and is making contact with the case to provide it just enough power to barely heat. The second thing is a very rare occurance. I would turn the dryer on, find out where the air vents out to, and with the dryer running, go to where it vents and check to see if there is a strong flow of air. 9 times out of 10 that is going to be your problem. Another way to check air flow is to just pull the vent off the back and let the dryer run and see if your clothes dry faster. If you do it that way and they still take a long time to dry, then you'll probably need to replace the heating element

I have an LG Electric Dryer Model No. DLEO332W. It runs fine on ultra low or low heat, but if in the middle of the cycle I turn it to medium, medium high or high heat it cuts off.

There is a hi-temperature limit switch in the heating area that may be the issue. It can be manually reset but hard to get to. Top off, control panel off, front off.

LG Dryer low heat doesn't work

It may be as simple as checking your lint filter.
If you use fabric softeners sheets, they tend to clog the lint filter holes. Washing it with soap and water will restore it back to normal and will allow the circulation that the dryer needs to properly dry your clothes.

Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

Kitchen aid kgys750gq0 works but there is no heat

The KitchenAid KGYS750GQ0 is a gas dryer, so the solution of looking for a heating element is not helpful. There are several heat switches and a gas burner assembly (which includes a gas valve and an electric ignition), any of which could be the problem.
