Question about NEC VT595 LCD Projector
I have a NEC VT 595 projector which wont turn on. It has a red blinking light. I changed the lamp but it has not changed the status.
I had this same problem with 2 NEC VT595 projectors. My problem was that there was a broken "tab" on the lamp cover (the plastic cover that slides in place over the lamp) that is supposed to depress a switch which insures the lamp cover is in place before operating the projector. The tab was broken in half and not making the connection there for causing the blinking status light (.5 sec on, 2.5 sec off) indicating a lamp housing or cover error.
