Headset won't recharge battery must be dead

That may very well be the case. There is a finite number of charge / discharge cycles a battery can handle. This number varies based on the level of discharge prior to charging, temperature, etc. Some devices can operate via charger alone - and others require a small amount of battery power and a charger to operate. A classic tell tale sign is an older device that has been used regularly and charged every day or night - but was allowed to fully discharge once - due to failure to connect to the charger. Attempting to charge may indicate it is accepting a charge but goes completely dead / dark when the charger is removed. That usually indicates a battery that was drained so low that it will need to be replaced. Good luck!

It doesn't seem to keep the charge. does that mean I need a new charger or a new headset?

Sounds like the battery is not holding its charge.......you can rejuvenate the battery by fully charging and then fully draining til it goes off either by leaving on or using! Doing this a few times will allow the battery to fully charge and hold the charge better!

How many amps to charge a car battery?

most chargers these days regulate the amperage as the battery charges. My Motomaster charger starts off at 16 amps on a depleted or low battery and goes down to 5 amps once fully charged. Battery maintainers put out about 2 amps.

I am putting fully charged battery but it is blinking red for charging the battery

I had this problem. If you have the original Nikon charger, insert the battery and press the calibration button. I dont know how, but it charged the battery fully.

Should I remove Nicads from charger after charge

That depends entirely on the charger. Cheap chargers will not shut off power to batteries even when they are fully charged. Nicer chargers will cut power to the batteries when they are charged up.

But the safe answer is yes, remove batteries once they are done charging. (And store batteries with a full charge.)

When I start up the computer it only goes to the Asus black screen and no farther. I put in the recovery disc but nothing happens. I can get into bios but not sure what to do once I get there. Help

Remove your battery completely, plug the AC cord in and try a reboot ;)

(If you leave your battery charger plugged in on a fully charged battery it may cause a voltage issue preventing your Graphics card or other things to start.)

Sony ericsson w995 won't charge. On attempting to charge phone says "Battery can not be charged insert a Sony Battery" (the battery is the original battery) once that screen goes it says insert SIM even...

Hello, when a phone does not charge, it means that the phone charger or the port at which the charger is inserted in the phone is faulty.

Might be due to dust or dirt. You can Clean charging port on the phone with a brush and alcohol to remove dirt.

After cleaning it,if still not charging, you can test charger with another phone to be sure if the charger is working. And if charger works with another phone, that means the charging port on the phone is faulty and will need to replaced.

Take care.

the battery's are most likely dead, (like the real dead) after many uses of rechargeable battery's they slow stop holding charge at all, make sure when you get a new rechargeable battery you fully charge it once and fully discharge it once this will increase batterys life time
