Open Question

My wii u game pad will not sync with console

Punch in symbols and tells me to move closer to console. put it next to console and still does not connect

I've had this same problem. Remove the batteries from the remotes. Then disconnct the power cord from the back of the Wii and disconnect the power cord from the wall. Let it sit for 5 min. Double check that the sensor bar is plugged into the Wii and check the cord for any breaks that might stop the signal. After you are sure that the sensor bar is connected and the 5 min. have gone by plug it all back in, install your batteries and re-sync it.

SOURCE: LED turns green, but console doesn't start up

hum........ that is weird I'm not really sure how to fix that. But make sure all the cable from the wii are plugged in properly. For example: the red, yellow and white cables may look like they are plugged in but sometimes you have to push them in really hard to get them to work.

My wii does that sometimes in the middle of a game it just goes black so I just have to walk up to the TV and make sure they are im properly.

The first step is to check the disc. If you are sure this is not a problem with the game disc, then this is usually a problem with either the laser inside of the Wii's drive, or some other issue going on inside of the DVD drive. the laser eye inside that reads the games is dirty, you can use a cd disk that cleans the eye when cd is inserted,which you can get anywhere for a few bucks like walgreens,kmart,walmart,jewel,best buy to name a few, sometimes you need to have someone open the wii up, with a specical tool and clean the laser eye with a q tip and a very small amount of alcohol on the swab, I have fixed wii's this way many of times!!!

Wiimote no sync
Underneath the flap on the front of your Wii, there is a red sync button. There is also one next to the batteries in the Wii remote itself. Press both of these buttons to sync the Wii remote to the Wii.

1. Ensure that the Sensor Bar cord is plugged to the back of the console, and is placed properly at the center of your TV screen. For detailed directions on setting up the Sensor Bar, please click here.

2. Check to be sure the Wii Remote is synced to the console, by using the Power button on the Wii Remote to turn the console on. (The power button is the small white button with the red symbol in the top-left corner, just above the Control Pad). If this doesn't work, try to sync the Wii Remote. Once synced, try to turn the power on the console on and check for proper response.

3. Make sure that the Wii Remote is being used between 3' and 10' directly in front of the TV and that there are no bright light sources affecting the Wii Remote's operation (review Game Play Guidelines for more information), and that the Sensor Bar is placed properly (see Sensor Bar setup). Avoid sources of infrared light in the gameplay area such as electric, propane or kerosene heaters, flames from fireplaces or candles, and stoves or other sources of heat.

If you are still experiencing problems after trying the steps above, there could be a problem with your Sensor Bar.

I CANNOT GET THE WII TO HOOK-UP TO THE NET!
THE WII HAS A VERY BAD RANGE FOR WI-FI! TRY MOVING THE WII CLOSER TO YOUR ROUTER OR CONNECTING IT WITH A CLOSER TV! IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT, TRY PUTTING IT IN A MORE OPEN SPACE AWAY FROM WALLS/CABINETS/OTHER DEVICES! THERE IS NOT MUCH ELSE YOU CAN DO, NINTENDO'S SUPPORT PAGE MIGHT HAVE A LITTLE MORE HELP!

The WiFi connection is not working
  • The Nintendo Wii has a very weak signal concerning internet connections. Try moving your Wii to a TV closer to your router, or try putting your Wii on top of your television. Anything to create a more open/closer path to your router.

Remotete looses connection. If I leave a game switched on and put the remote down for a while, when I return there is no curser on the screen, and no way of getting it back. The only way is to leave it...
Hello there!

What this looks like is a problem with the batteries. Your batteries might be very low and need replacing. I would suggest replacing the batteries in your remote and seeing if that works.

If this does not work, you can try permanently syncing your Wii remote again.

You can do this by:
Step 1. Turn on the Wii console.
Step 2. Open up the back of the Wii remote and press the little red button that says "SYNC." next ot it.
Step 3. While the Wii remote's 4 LEDs are flashing, press the big rectangular "SYNC." button on the Wii console (in case you didn't know this, the Wii's SYNC. button is located under the plastic flap on the front of the Wii console, with the SD card slot). Wait a second, and the remote will register as a remote on the Wii console. This is the only sure-fire way to sync a Wii remote. TIP: make sure when you turn the console on, that you press A on the remote you want to be first player first, or it might get the remotes' player orders mixed up. They will still be synced to the console, but just in undecided orders. You will have to press A for the remote(s) you want to use every time you turn on the Wii console.

If all else fails I would suggest contacting Nintendo support at 1-800-895-1672 and they should be able to help you further. You could also go to your local electronics store that sells Wii products and get a replacement and follow the syncing as stated above.

Flashing lights on drum control pad. no connection to system.
You must sync the drums. To do this first take off Battery cover of drums.(leave batteries in) Then press the tiny red button on the front of the wii console next to the sd card slot for 2 seconds. In the battery compartment of the drums, there is a tiny red button that looks like the one one the wii. Press it and they should sync. Now your remote should work.

Unable to sync controlers . were working perfectly then attempted to play next day and controls not in sync. Attempting to sync lights keep flashing. tried new batteries and moving wii console.

Open the front cover on your Wii, then push the red button there, then open the batteries cover on your Wii Fit and push the red button there.When the board is sync put the wii fit disc in console and follow the instruction.

Can't get the guitar to play
If the blue light does not come. or if the light comes on intermittently, then on then the power wired inside the guitar are not firmly connected to the circuit board. Lay guitar on table, remove back screws. Lift back and follow wired from power switch next to batteries down to where wires connect to circuit board. If plug pulls out easily, it is not connecting. Use two hands to push connector into place, use one had on circuit board to keep connector from breaking off while pushing. Connector should not come loose when gently pulling on wires.

try pressing the button on the usb reciever, also you can try and sync it directly to the wii. press the sync button on the guitar, then the sync button on the wii, then the button on the guitar again. I myself have not tried this myself
