Same problem My vizo 37 has the same problem. I hook up digital antenna and it works for a little bit and freezes and then doesnt work at all. It not the signal Guru. I put my 26 Vizo on the same atenna and it works fine. Anyone can solve it by getting cable for 40 bucks a month. I am not paying it. Why cant we use our Digital Atenna?

Then I would say you have a problem with the Main Board in the 37". Have it looked at by a service company in your area if he wants to work on a Vizio. Parts are difficult to obtain at times.

I cant connect my dtvpal converter,my indoor old antenna, to an old 19 portable tv? please help

Since they began broadcasting digital you will need to get a converter from Radio Shack. Might be easier to just get a flat panel TV.

I have a polaroid hdtv model TLA-d1911c that wont get a local channel.I bought a new antenna and hooked it up but it still wont pick anything up.

You may be looking in the wrong place or have the wrong kind of antenna. With the digital conversion, TV channels shifted from the numbers they used before. In my area, the previous Channel 6 is now broadcasting in the UHF band.
It can be harder to adjust the antenna for a digital TV because it is either working well or totally off - no gradually decreasing "snow" as a clue.
It is possible your TV is not equipped to pick up digital TV. There are converters to translate digital TV to analog signals for older TV. They cost between $30 and $70 depending on features.

Frame periodically freezes on Vizio 37'' TV

Your statement is confusing. Why? because you stated " This tv is hooked up to an Antenna with a Booster", then you said it's connected to Cable Tv. I will answer this both ways for you.
If your on an Outside Antenna or Rabbit Ears, even with a booster, if the signal is not good prior to getting to the antenna then a booster only amplifies what it see's and that may be as we call it, "garbage". In a HDTV the freezing can happen when that situation is at hand, however if you are on Cable and we know the signal is clean ( we hope? ) then the problem is with the software in the set and should be looked at by a service center, or if it's right out of the box then I would exchange it.
In digital technology there's no maybe, it's yes or no! If the signal is not what's required, then you get what your experiencing now, IF, there's nothing wrong with the set, and there may be. I just repaired another brand doing the same thing and it was the Main Control Module. So, I hope I helped you in isolating the problem. Please keep me posted...

Just the one TV freezes

hello, it possible if your sharing the signal to sometimes loose reception you should have a dedicated hdtv antena or hdtv cable service for your main tv.
you can check by removing all the other sets and see,
if it happens again then you need a dedicated hd antenna or signal. this should be better for you and your hdtv reception.

Need tv help to get digital

You need to go to set up and on the far right menu there is an antenna setting. Can't remember the exact wording but the set comes set up for cable, just change it to antenna. After that run the channel setup.
