SOURCE: printing crooked

As "Guest" posted on Feb 05, 2009 the problem for me was the box in the back of the printer that facilitates double sided printing. One side had come loose. I was getting "Paper Mismatch" errors, and the text was printing slanted. I simply pulled the box out and reinstalled it. Problem solved.

Sounds like the roller(s) on the left side is missing or is slick (or split). You should have returned it to the place of purchase when you discovered the problem.

This printer is faulty, I suggest you return it to the supplier to get it repaired or replaced under warranty.
If you try to fix it yourself you could void your warranty.

Crooked copies

Tighten the fences and guides that hold the paper in place. If the paper is not snug in the tray, it will not pull through straight.

Try printing from the rear tray. My printouts from the bottom tray come out crooked, but the ones from the rear tray seem fine.

Crooked Cpoies

Pull all of the paper out of paper tray and reload. More than likely you will find some sheets on the bottom that are folded at the corners. This will cause crooked copies and also jams.

Printing crooked from one drawer, and no option to print from another drawer

Try this spray on a little WD40 on the GLASS and wipe it off.
Yes, you heard me correctly, make sure you wipe it off leaving no residue, but it's still slippery.
the problem may be coming from the glass being too dry and the paper is getting stuckand shifting.
If the paper itself was going crooked it would get jammed or ripped. There is no room for the paper to go through the path crooked so the only way for it to copy crooked is somewhere in the optics.
try doing 1-2 on the glass itself and see if it copies crooked.
The envelope tray is a By-pass tray and can be used for any size paper. You can switch which tray it copies from on the panel tray button.

use a little rubbing alcohol to clean the roller for that tray and any rubber part in the area like a "separation pad"

this is a classic symptom of roller/feeding problems

hope this helps
