Question about Sharp FO 5700 Plain Paper Laser Fax

Sarp FO-5700 it doesn't noved.

The machine said " wait a moment" it never get redy, I cheked the fuser unit, but it is ok .

Thank you for answering so quickly. The problem is that when I turn on the machine it shows on the screen " wait a moment" and it doesn't moved anything. There is paper in both trays.The drum and toner are ok and I also tested the fuser lamp, fuse and thermistor and they are ok too and I try to go to service mode but i couldn't go in.

Can you do a copy?

is paper tray in base of machine up or down?

Are drum and toner ok?

Do you have network card attached?

How do you know that fuser is ok?

on the machine the paper tray rises to meet the paper, this cam that lifts the tray can cause probs, is the tray sprung up of sitting down??

Open left side. Fuser is located near exit. Need more info. Fuser lamp could be out this is in middle of fuser roller pressure roller is on top. Check all paper path switches or sensors. Use canned air if possible. Remove toner cartridge first.

You have a bad printhead unit(laser unit) . The polygon mirror is not rotating within a specific amount of time. I recommend you to replace your fax unless your willing to spend between 200 to 500 dollars.

FO 5700 Won't print from memory

You have memory lock up. to ram clear the machine we need to clear out all memory. ( like it came out if the box )
1. have machine turned on
2. press 8,*,9,#.7 ( this will git you in to the programing of the fax )
3. press start
4. press the # key till memory clear
5. press start !( will clear out all memory )
it should print out a memory clear report
6 press stop key 2 times now lets se how it worked

I have never seen this error code on a sharp FO 5700 are you sure that is the right model # or error code. I even did a search in the FO5700 service manual(no luck). I believe I have seen this code before on a sharp copier.

Message that tray is out of paper, and tray is not in machine.(SHARP FO-5700 Fax)

Go underneath the machine and make sure that a black piece of plastic is secured in there. Sometimes they get pulled out when the tray gets removed.
