There is not much to it. There should be information stamped or printed on the side of the carb - maker and model#s. Take this information and do an internet search with it. You should find a rebuild kit for around $10. The kit should come with a diagram and directions. Take the carb apart, clean as necessary, reassemble with the new parts and you are good to go.

SOURCE: what oil do you use in the four cycle motor/ 29cc

Generally speaking, if there is a place on a gas-powered device that is labeled "gas" & a separate location labeled "oil" than you will need to use a 4-cycle oil for that machine. If there is just a place to put gas, you would use a 2-cycle oil; however, you would need to read the directions/manual to find out the correct proportion of oil to use, because you will have to MIX the appropriate amount of oil with the correct amount of gas, making a oil/gas solution that you would use for that specific device.

I have a troy bilt string weed cutter 27cc TB21Ec and need to know the oil gas ratio. I just read that it takes straight gas but my cap on the weed cutter where you put the gas says gas/oil mixture

Don't know that exact trimmer, but I always run 40:1 in all my trimmers, chainsaws, etc. That is 3.2 oz. of 2 cycle oil to one gallon of gasoline. I rebuild these machines daily and run that mix in everyting, except when it's actually specified on the machine.
