Question about Whirlpool Ovens
I have turned breaker off that goes to oven for 1 minute and turned breaker back on.Hoping that this would reset things. When baking sometimes it makes a clicking noise.
This is typically the oven sensor that is bad. The sensor is the pencil size probe in the oven. They usually can be pulled out from the front. and have a disconnect clip. very easy to replace.

look on the back of the unit, there should be an envelope that has a paper in it, that paper should tell you what the code means.

We had the same error codes F2 E6. We were told to turn off the breaker to the oven for 5 minutes and then turn it back on and it will reset itself. We tried it and it worked! Whirpool wanted to send someone out on a service call. Thank goodness we didn't!

When this code appears and display is going blank too, it is always the control board. The only option is to buy a new one or get it repaired. It can be fixed quickly and reliably. www.fixyourboard.com
