Question about LG VOYAGER VX10000 Cellular Phone

Cant use voyager while its charging

When I plug the charger into my lg voyager, the phone thinks there is a headset and takes the sound away from the speakers on the phone, it also will not let me connect my bluetooth. It used to work fine. I think I have messed up the port from trying to plug in the charger while driving or in the dark. It looks kind of scraped up. I tried to straighten the pins with a needle but it didnt help.

I have just started having the same problem. At first it wouldn't allow me to hear when it was plugged in to an AC outlet, but it would be ok if I was charging through either the car charger or USB plug. Now it doesn't work no matter what type of device I charge with. I too need a solution.

Red blinking light

Hi, Ephraim. The flashing red light indicates that the device is showing "low battery". It could be that the LG phone charger fits the charging port on your bluetooth headset but it is not compatible with your device. In order for you to know that it is charging, the device should show a steady red light(means charging).
Please take a look at the table reference below.

I have a Plantronics Voyager Pro and it will not take a charge. I plugged the charger into my phone to check it and it does work on my phone except not with my blurtooth. Thanks for your help.

If you have the Plantronics Voyager Pro headset, you should be using the ac adapter that came with the headset ( model 79414-01 ). If the headset will not charge, it could be broken or the internal battery may be worn out. Keep in mind that the Voyager Pro has a one year warranty, and Plantronics will replace it within the warranty period.

My LG Voyager stuck on headset mode

Turn your phone off and remove the battery. Also tap the headset port (where a headset would normally plug into).

When you reboot it back up it should fix itself. If it doesn't you have a hardware problem (its physically broken) you can see if its under its 1 yr warranty to get your free replacement, or if its older - there's always cell phone insurance.

LG Voyager is stuck in carkit /headset mode

ok i just had this same problem, it is a hardware defect, it thinks a headset is plugged in.
The red x's you see are supposed to be there so if it is still under warranty call them explain the problem and in 5 mins you will have a replacement on the way.
If it is out of warranty try plugging a headset into it and taking it out it should fix the problem temporarily.

Speaker button broke on my voyager when i push it nothing happens and when people call me i cant hear anything and they cant hear me plus its a brand new phone with same batery is it my battery???

i have same problem but me and my friend think we found a cause. if you use a headset to talk on the phone and you plug it in(not bluetooth), then you might have jammed the plug in too hard and your phone is recognizing that you have a headset in when you dont. so plug the headset in and talk and you can hear and other people can hear you. only answers i can give is 1) Hard reset, or restore factory settings rest 2) new phone or phone repair 3) if you dont mind voiding warranty( fyi, i am not responsible for any damages done to your phone or service interruptions or discontinuement due to contract violation of opening phone casing) opening your phone case to clean female connector(the hole where you plug in the headset) with a pencil eraser and letting it set for a couple of minutes. hope these work for you. Lg kf600 wont go past startup

that usually happens to me when my phone is low on batteries. What I do is leave it charged for 10 minutes without flipping it on. Then I unplug the charger and turn it on. After it's on, make sure that the screen is lit then plug it back it. This phone is extremely quirky. Charging the phone is the worse part. Also the fact that you can't have the headset plugged in with the charger bugs me. All of my LG electronics seem to be like this. I guess next time I'll just stay away from this brand completely... regardless of how pretty or cheap it is. =)

Trouble with ear jack and speaker, lg voyager VX10000

If you look in the bottom of the phone (where the charger plugs in) you will most likely see that at least 2 of the far right pins are bent over or bent to the side. This happened on my wifes phone. I found that if I took the data cable and plugged it into the phone on one end and nothing on the other, it would work. She is taking it to get a warranty replacement tomorrow.

When you plug the data cable in, you should here all of your normal sounds etc. It might trigger the voice command thing, but it usually only does it once.
