Dual xd1222 radio fit a 97 stratus wire harness

Basically the radio will fit but since harness differs between some chrysler products, you need to find the pigtail that will fit the Dodge harness and give bare wires to connect the Dual's respective wires. An example of this can be seen at http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/2669860/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046

I have found similar pigtails at Walmart, Best Buy, and some autoparts stores. Crutchfield includes all this based on your purchase - just a thought.

I have the dual xdv8125 car stereo and i hook all the wires up but nothn comes on. its hooked upto a 12volt dc power converter box. it wont do nothing at all.

Make sure that the DC has more than 3/5Amps rating with good DC to make the set working. Test with a car battery to confirm your connection if not check the speaker connections, the main power, switched power and ground must be in order.

Can anyone tell me what the wiring pin out is ?

Hello daneggan,

I'd recommend getting a new plug-in harness either from the manufacturer or from an aftermarket source.

Installer.com sells harnesses for most brands. And if you give them your vehicle make and model, they'll solder two harnesses together and make you a custom plug-in solution. The cost is only $7.50 to connect the harnesses, about half the cost of a soldering iron and heat shrink or a pack of good inline crimps and crimping tool.

Hope this helps.

Color code for a dual xdma7715

You need to buy a ford wiring harness. They are about $22 at Best Buy. If you want to hardwire the unit to your car then you need to get the wiring colors from Ford. It is 100x times easier to just buy the wire harness.
