Please help ... it's work normal but when I cook couple of round (fries okra or fish ..ext .... it will shut it down and I have to turn it off ...wait 10min then turn back on and it work normal...please help

Deep fry cod


I usually set mine for 350. When at temperature I cook just long enough to cook the fish. Maybe two minutes depending on how thick the fish is. I normally do it by sight when a golden brown I remove it.

I purchased a deep fryer from Wall mart today and there were not any instrutions in the box. Will you please mail me a set of instrutions so I will know the tempatures that I will need to cook the...

But as a rule of thumb
potatoes (any type 375%)
chicken and fish 325% to 350%
In most cases when deep frying...when it floats its done! should be a golden brown....fill oil to top of fill line

Do not know how to use


Oil darkens with use the oil food molecules burn when subjected to high prolonged heat.
When frying foods such as fish or chicken use the oil once.

Do not filter oil over to reuse. Storing the oil in the refrigerator may extend the life of the oil, this should not be done ever. This process of chilling the oil and then burning the oil to room temperature causes excessive splattering furing the heat up.

Storing the covered oil in a cool dark place, for up to three months. ( remember to check oil when you use for color, smell, or excessive foaming. Throw out if there is signs of all the above.

This unit has a warranty for one year from the day of purchase.


Cooking:

When starting let unit reheat 7-10 minutes. This will get the heat to desired temperature. Re4ady light will cycle on/off during frying as temperature fluctuates due to food load.
Types of foods cooking: temperatures and time of cooking

Chicken strips 375 F. 5-8 minutes

Chicken pieces, bone-in 375 F. 15-20 minutes

Fish, battered 340 F. 8-10 minutes

French fries, frozen 375F. 3-5 minutes

F375F. 3-5 minutes

Onion rings 375 F. 3-5 minutes

Shrimp, breaded 375 F. 2-5 minutes
When frying frozen food if iced rub off lose as this can make the temperature of oil cool down. Pre-cooked frozen food cooks faster and does not come out oily.


I cannot wait to start cooking in mine as I got it for a christmas gift. Great recipes in the owners manual:

Apples fritters yum yum,beer batter for fish or chicken, deep fried chicken , chicken Kiev, quick doughnut made from biscuits, add topping of ground cinnamon and suger.

I had that happen once and it went off after a day. I'd suggest maybe turning off the breaker and wait a few minutes and turn it back on. But here's my problem for you. I got the 30" model in March, 2008. The problem I've had is that the induction units cool down and start cycling when I'm cooking something like bacon, or pork chops etc., ie. where you're trying to brown something or sear. They cycle up and down every couple of minutes, so its really annoying. They work fine if I'm boiling water for pasta or sauces, etc. Have you experienced this. I've been working with the dealer and the company and they say its a "software" problem, but they've haven't taken them off the market. I use All-Clad stainless steel pans so that's not the issue. Not sure on your climate.
But a Holland grill cooks cooler in the coller months and Hotter in the hotter months. This type of grill doesn't reach a very high setting approx: 400 degrees. It might reach higher temperatures in the hotter weather 450-475 degrees.

Also, it has to shut down the same way every time you use your grill.

Here is a Tip to fix a grill that not getting hot:
1. Turn the gas valve knob off. then close LP tank valve knob.
2. Unscrew the plastic hose coupling knob from the LP tank. You may hear a slight "hissing" sound as pressure is released this is normal.
3.Wait a minute then screw the coupling knob back on to LP Tank.
4.With lid open.slowly open LP tank valve.
5.Relight the grill the proper way by turning gas valve knob to ON position while turning the igniter knob at the same time.
6.After you are sure the grill is lit preheat the grill for 30 minutes.

This was called purging the line or releasing the air out of the line.

Another thing your orifice could be clogged with spiders or dirt. If it is LP gas check to make sure your hose is not kinked.

Hollands are known for the slow cooking process and a Healthy way of cooking!
