Best way is to locate the beeper. There should be two wires coming from it. You can clip the wire and insulate the cut end. Best to cut the red wire if one is there, as it will be the power lead. If you sell the unit later, you can restore the beeper.

Look at the notches in the control and on the wire connections. They are all different and only fit in their own spot.

Dryer does not heat up. cleaned exhaust, tried different cycles. still nothing. possibly heating element?

On the back of your dryer there are two over temp sensors, most times one will go bad for know reason, looking at the wires on the back you will see them going into a small silver cap looking thing this is the sensor , after you unplug this dryer remove the back of this unit, follow the wires till you see the sensor this has two wires on it , remove the wires and check the sensor for continuity . And of coarse inone is found then replace this sensoe it has the part number on it and if i remember corect it was around $4 , remember there are two sensors so look for both , if you dont have a tester then remove the wires and use a small jumper wire in it's place , start the dryer to see if it heating , if it is order the sensor , do not use the dryer with out the sensor , you could get a dryer fire !!! Does not ignite error code flashes 6 times

Look on the reverse side of the removable front panel of the Carrier. Each model will have a wiring diagram and a diagnostic chart to help you pin point the issue. Without knowing the model number the error code means something different for each model.

My dashlights are out on my 2004 kia spectra i don't know how to check the fuses I don't want to pull out the worng one and mess something up

if you have a test light you can check the fuse without removing it but you can take the fuse out to check it without messing anything up, when the fuse is removed if you look at the side of it you should be able to see the fuse wire through the plastic and it will be blown if the wire is not one piece from one side to the other
replace the fuse with the same colour as they are different ratings for the different colours

Just want to know where the oil filter is at for 2002 alero 2.2

For the 2.2 L, working from top the engine (yep - I crawled around under looking), on the oil filler cap side, look down beside the power steering pump and you'll see a black plastic cap with a fairly large hex head (1 and 1/4") for removal. The filter is a paper element unit that comes up as an assembly when you remove the back cap. I removed the air filter duct and sensor wire for ease of access. But you use a bar extension (like 10 ") connect to an adjustable wrench to loosen gently and up it all came without the usual mess and disassembly of air filter duct and sensor wire. Just different. To close, the torque is 25 Nn.

1987 cressida missing

Start with testing the injectors for pulse. Get a NOID light they sell the at almost any auto parts store remove in get plug from injector and plug the noid light into plug look for constant steady (pulse)lighting of noid light. Check all six injector on your strait 6. If all is good remove parke plug wire on at a time from cap and look for increased shaking and less when it replaced(Make sure to use wire puller with rubber insulation to avoid being zapped by spark from coil) Note cylinder with no difference or change when wire is removed. Those would be the problem cylinders. Then get a compression guage and check all cylinders for compression by removing spark plugs and attaching guage to each cylinders, make a not of each cylinder's reading. NOTE THEY SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 10 PSI difference in cylinders. Make note of low compression cylinders if any. If compression is good all around spark plugs are good, good ignition wires and you have good pulse pattern from you noid light. The only other problem is BAD INJECTORS and those would be the ones that didn't change when you took off the wires. I have work on these old cressida alot my self. Good Luck contact me if you need more help and if I solve your problem leave me a FIX-YA comment.

Changing Spark Plugs on 2001 Chevy Blazer

You have to jack up the vehicle and go through the wheel well. There is a flap that will lift out of the way and you can get to the plugs. The center one is a pain though because the steering shaft is in the way.
