Question about Euro-Pro Shark 80 - 7133

Cannot get the stiteh display know to turn at all and the Stitch Length wheel will not turn. Please help! Thank you!

Hi Queen,
on the stitch length dial on the top right of the machine, turn it all the way left. When you get to 0 and think it stops, keep turning, you'll get to the S.

Help please. How to adjust presser foot. Where to chg stitch length

Please provide the make and model of your machine. There is generally no adjustment to the presser foot for selecting a straight stitch. You just need to use the specific presser foot that the owner's manual recommends for a straight stitch. The adjustment is made to the stitch length and stitch width selectors. Singer 6215 Stitch length dial not working properly...have to force knob to turn past 2.5...stitch lengths don't seem to change, either. Thanks!

How long has it been since you've cleaned and oiled your machine?

Your machine requires frequent oiling on the moving metal parts. Most likely the stitch length selector has begun to seize.

What are the best settings on the 4 dials for the straight stitch? Do the ones on top have to match the wheel settings below? Thanks from a novice

Hello,
#1- tension settings, set this to "5" and leave it
#2- width control setting, 0 would be straight while 5 would be the full width of the stitch (would make a wide zig zag)
#3- Length control, larger the number, longer the stitch. (usually you will set this from 1.5 to 2.5)
#4- Stitch selector, match up the number with the stitch you want to sew. If you want to use the lower row of stitches (14-25) set the length dial to "ss". (ss stands for stretch stitch, such as for #14 (three rows of straight dashed lines) instead of just sewing one stitch forward, the machine will sew back and forth giving you a stretchy stitch/stronger)

A bit confusing from the manual, to set the stitch length all you need to do adjust the stitch length dial.

Stitch selection

Next to the "selection wheel" there's a large-ish "hole" with a screw at the bottom, use your screw driver to wind up the screw and you'll be able to use the 9 to 15:)

Lengthening stitches.

You can adjust the length of the Zigzag (Satin)
Stitch using the buttonhole fine-adjusting screw. You will find it right above your stitch selection dial.

> For a longer stitch length, turn the
buttonhole fine-adjusting screw with a large
screwdriver in the + direction.
> For a shorter stitch length, turn the
buttonhole fine-adjusting screw with a large
screwdriver in the - direction.

How to adjust the stich lenght on a juki ddl 553 strite stich.

I still don't understand this. I have acquiured a juki DDL 553 recently to discover I have no idea how to change the stitch length and that there is no reverse stitch. I have pressed the black button and have tried to turn the side?( the wheel?) but when i push down on the black button there is no way to turn the wheel it doesn't move, maybe there is some other part I'm supposed to be moving??
