I have a PTC-2000 car security system, and its in silent mode how do I take it off silent mode to normal mode please help me

If the Remote is now working now, the problems in the future will continue and get worse. I would recommend removing it and returning it for a Higher Quality Alarm System

Autopage xt74 alarm in silent mode

The only reason that your alarm would not chirp when locking and unlocking the doors is that the system is in valet. A visual notification that the alarm is in valet mode is the LED light is on solid. If the LED is on solid and you wish to make the alarm active again, turn the ignition on then, press and hold the valet/programming switch for two seconds. The LED light will turn off.
If the LED light is not on solid then, the issue may be with siren itself.

Open vehicle door, press lock, unlock, lock on the alarm remote.

My Galaxy tab is on silent mode although all the setting are showing normal but no tone is coming while an incoming call neither on silent mode it shakes just once then silent and when in headphone mode it...

the internal spkr is out needs replacement

How to switch off silent mode

Hi,

To switch off silent mode please follow the below instructions

Menu > Profiles >

You will get following options in it

Normal/General
Silent
Meeting
Outdoor
Pager

Scroll through the normal/General profile and
Press select once the normal/General profile is highlighted.
Scroll to Select and press Select.
Now you are out of silent mode.
If the mobile is still in general and in silent mode then follow the below steps.
Scroll to the normal/General profile and press Select.
Scroll to Customize and press Select.

In that you will have an option called as Ringing Option.
Please set it to ringing and save the settings.

You are done

How do I get my viper alarm from silent mode to chirp mode?

if its in valet mode to get it out
open door put key in IGN to the ON position push the valet (black) button one time then turn key off and remove

The car arms but the alarm does not chirp

try turning your key on and flip the valet switch, your alarm is most likely in valet mode (youll know cause the led stays on) if that doesnt work, turn the key on and off then toggle thye valet switch 3x and that'll turn off silent mode. Good luck, Martin @ lessco electronics

read the owners guide look at page 11 remote control programing you have to follow the instructions after your in the programing mode go to page 12 look at the unlock symbol and finish the programing
