SOURCE: Flickering and loss of colour

Problem now solved. I switched the camera on and off a few times and took several test photos. After a few minutes the problem resolved itself. I suspect the cause was condensation, but cannot be sure.

Acer Aspire 5517 shows BLUE light when fully charged.
Start it and check battery indicator (tray item) will probably say
plugged in fully charged (with adapter plugged in)

While it's charging it doesn't show the battery indicator. When the charger is plugged out it shows the battery state on the screen that shows WHERE TO and VIEW MAP

Battery is fully charged on my 205 and yet it turns itself off

Can it be turn on when the device is attached to the cradle with electric supply?
If so, I think the battey is aged and it cannot be charged to the operating voltage to turn the device on.
A change of battery is required.
I had such a case recently.

Garmin 530 doesn't turn on

if the light goes off it would indicate that the battery is fully charged.
does the unit function like a phone when charging as in showing a chg indicator even if it is off? If so there are more serious issue than maybe just a bad power switch.

The battery status indicator does not show on my screen. I can only see it when I first turn on using battery power. It doesn't show me anything when it's charging, or how much battery life I have left.

The indicator goes away telling you that its no longer running on battery power and that its running on the car or AC charger. During that time, its charging the battery. Only when you remove the unit from the charger/adapter will you see the battery icon because you will then be on battery power. 4 green bars mean you are near or fully charged.

THis is really a sign of a bad battery that is always being detected fully charge but its really drian , so it will be better for you to replace that battery.....

Did you put a memory card in the camera?
My camera did this today, and I resolved it by putting a memory card in, but even when one has been out before it still turned on, so I'm not sure that is the resolution. Did you ever find out what was causing it?

Received out of the box new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70. After power on, within 10 secs get a "System Error (O.I.S)". Renders camera inoperable. Disabling the Stabilizer from the menu does not resolve Putting camera into picture playback mode did not yield the system error, however, upon returning to picture taking mode, within 10 seconds, got the system error (OIS).
