Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

My boiler keeps getting shut down and the message says "supply too fast". I have to reset the boiler every time that happens. What is wrong?

I suspect that there is something wrong with the control panel, and I am thinking about replacing it with a new one. But I am not sure

Either the pump in not running to circulate the heat, or the boiler is going straight into high fire and not modulating correctly.

After a thunder storm i have sound, no picture, the tv powers up, the back lights are on, should i suspect a bad lcd screen?

Something else is going on. The T-Con board has no other function than controlling the picture. If there is a separate board for the led drivers, I'd suspect that one. The main board controls the sound.

That would be the first thing I suspected as well. If you have a voltmeter and the steering column trim panels removed and have the no blinker symptom present I'll be more than happy to walk you through some basic tests. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

HOW TO SET TIMING ON 96 CADILLAC CONCOURS DEVILLE

There is no way to adjust the timing on your car....if you suspect or have verified that the timing is off, then either something is wrong with the computer, or something has gone wrong mechanically. Fixing a timing issue is not a job advise of the at home mechanic as the Northstar engine is very complex and requires many specialized tools for its repairs.

Control Panel Problem on a Maytag DW MDBTT79AWW

I had this same problem, ordered the replacement control panel from whirlpool. The new panel worked for two weeks, then stopped working again. OUCH!
The replacement part costs $264.34 and has no warranty if you do it yourself.
I think I am now going shopping for something other than a Whirlpool or Maytag machine. They have terrible customer service.

Antilock and traction contol on and off for no reason 0-10mph .2005 buick rendevouz.has new brake bearings/sensors.

take it back to whomever did the repair and have them fix for free. I suspect the new sensors are wrong, installed wrong, or something else. These sensors tell the brake and traction control computers what to do.

Control panel dead, door is locked

heres a few ideas.
1 first check your power going to the machine the plug, inspect wires leading up to it.

3 if you are sure the control panel is dead order a new one and replace it pretty easy. only if you are sure.
4 last resort - take the top off it to get to the latch. if the latch is on the top, make sure. you should be able to get the latch from here,if not you have to take the front off too, which is a pain.

most likley the circut board in the control panel is bad and i think you have to order the whole thing, i think. remove the screw in back and look to see if any circut board can be removed by itself. to replace the controls its just a matter of a few screws and plugging things back in order.
