Dropping a speaker box/speakers may disconnect the internal workings/wiring of the speakers causing it to malfunction.

I dropped the speaker in water yesterday. I turned it off & attemped to dry out now it won't charge.

You toasted your battery. Unfortunately, you are more than likely out of luck as water damage is not covered under the Bose warranty.

The next time, hopefully never again, you drop an electronic device in the water, DO NOT TURN IT ON! Remove the battery and let dry for 48 hours, with all possible covers removed.

My bose mini used to turn up nice and loud but all of a sudden it won't go up very high? Help. Need my base booming sound.

these units are good but when using them at peak performance for long periods of time they will fail(over driving the final drivers) at this point I suggest you get a good shelf unit that will take the high demand of audio.

Sounds like the battery is dead. Time to replace the battery. Is it under warranty? If not, then buy a replacement battery from Bose.

My bose mini soundlink has a static sound which has started to occur after it is playoing for several minutes

The reason mine crackled seems to be because it was on very high volume (on the speaker) but my computer was on low volume. Hope this helps,

Loud whining noise

yes,,this is due to electromagnetic interference...
try to keep the accessory speaker as far as possible fro the powerspeaker..this would serve better

Speakers wont turn down

its the audio quality in windows settings. go to the cpanel and change the sound volume in windows sound settings

then change volume. it should work otherwise. there old speakers. try buying a new bose speaker or something.
