Question about Krell Audio Players & Recorders
Try subbing out another newer speaker for the left one ? if sound returns then that older speaker is defective .

You will need to use the pre-outs on the receiver to hook up your amplifier. I am trying to verify if that model even has pre-outs for the front channels, many do. You will be able to tell quicker than I can by just looking for outputs labeled pre-out for the front channels. Just use the cables you have to attach the Krell amp to those pre-outs and you will be good to go. Let me know if you are unable to locate them... the receiver may not be designed to do that..
