Question about Toys
Do they stand for children deaths from getting childhood shots
Hello, Cookie -
Your question echos an urban legend.
Creator of the Raggedy Ann doll, Johnny Gruelle, filed a for a US patent for the doll May28, 1915 and received US Patent D47789 for his Raggedy Ann doll on September 7, 1915.
Sadly, Gruelle's daughter, Marcella passed away as the result of an infection related to a smallpox vaccination at age 13, November 8, 1915, after the date of the patent for the doll.
