this problem will only occur if the main charge is not working.
it will almost certainly be the whole main charge assembly but maybe the high voltage transformer (but that would be very uncommon)

Throwing the machine away is the best recommendation. You have a bad drum/developer that is leaking some toner. Could be a bad cleaner blade for streaks on the front; fallen toner for streaks on the back. Careful cleaning, replace transfer roller. First, check the condition of the fuser assembly. If the soft roller is bad it will leave toner buildup on the teflon roller, and vice-versa. Start there.

Copystar 5035 lite copies


Lite copies caused by developer unit, try to run mode 130 which will add toner to your developer, or try change the density of the copier, if non works, this means you have to change the developer unit.

Our copier is not making good copies. I was wondering how often it should be cleaned?


It should be cleaned after 75,000 copies. you have to change the maintenance kit, which contain the fuser, drum, developer.

Our copystar 2030 keeps asking for toner. We just


Can be an ensemble of the reasons:
1. The Silent sensor which checks the concentration of the toner.
2 Check pulled of you film defensive with tubas?
3 During moving the toner track can be broken or littered.
4 Can be a value-added degree to concentrations of the toner in service programme inflexion
5 Can be sensor itself to concentrations
7 Sensors can be littered
8 If it is used developer, can be violated concentration developer to toner
This in a complicated way repairs with words.Sooner whole you should apply to service,forgive, but such fault it is difficult do advice, it is necessary all look the experienced specialist, you may lose much toners and break the track of the presenting the toner, apply to service. Good luck

Km-1510 .. AP error code


AP = Adding Powder (toner) it's not an error
it's adding toner from the container into the developer unit while displaying AP. when there is enough toner in the container the AP will disappear and copies can be made when there is not enough toner in the container the toner empty light will come on.
