Question about Viking Ovens
Surely the fan of a fan oven is there to circulate the heat within the oven to eliminate "cold" spots and shorten cooking times. Some ovens will allow the fan to switched off.

SOURCE: oven will not heat?
you have the oven on automatic in error. switch off at mains. leave for 5 mins. turn on, consult your handbook on how to set clock and having done this, bet it works

SOURCE: Fan assist wont heat oven
the ring element may have blown. if it works ok with the top and bottom elements, (the convection oven) then it is likely the element surrounding the oven fan.

It could be that the element around the fan (which is obscured by metal plate) has gone. Remove the metal plate in front of the fan, and test with a multimeter to see if a current gets through it...
Easy to order and replace yourself

I got Dacor to give me the number sequence --
- push "cancel" and "#" at same time
- when screen asks for "service ID" enter "S1234"
(get "S" by pushing "7" 5 times)
- screen will list "U60 Cooling Fan" as number 1, so select "1"
- select "clear all", this should clear the error
- hit "cancel" to get out of that screen
Hope this works for you! Best suggestion I have is DON'T BUY DACOR!! We also own their 30" dishwasher, which has been a nightmare experience as well.
