SOURCE: bypassing car dvd parking brake

The yellow wire that the manual says that you "need to hook up to the parking brake" just needs to be grounded. Its that simple, you do not need any switch or anything, just find a part of the car behind the unit and ground it.

It is for the car dual one and power is not getting on

First thing is to check the fuse. They can blow. If fuse is good, use a voltmeter to check to see if you have power to the red and yellow wiring. Red is connected to ignition so it turns on with key. Yellow is connected directly to constant battery voltage for memory.
If you have good power to the device, make sure the ground wire is securely attached or re-attach it to a metal surface in the dash.

check on the main wiring harness you wil see a black box on the yellow wire. open up the cover. there is a 10 amp mini fuse inside. if it is blown replace the fuse. also check your main radio and accesssory fuses in your fuse box. if no fuses are blown check all wiring connections.

Isn't the 1 amp fuse too small? Usually 12 volt operated electronics require a higher amperage fuse. Check with the adaptirs owners manual first before changing again.

Usually the wire should be grounded. Connect the wire to a ground point via a switch (is illegal to watch TV/DVD while you're driving)
