SOURCE: GE Profile double Built-In Oven error Code

According to the GE User manual... any F# error code means you have a function error and they suggest you press the CLEAR/OFF pad and allow the oven to cool for one hour. Then put the oven back into operation. If the function code repeats, disconnect all power from th eoven for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect it.. If it still comes back.. call for service.. however it has been my observation that F0 is usually a shorted off key on the keypad. Hope this helps..

SOURCE: top oven doesn't heat.

We had this same problem in our lower oven and found the solution the night before Thanksgiving. With 26 people coming for dinner, I desperately need both ovens. (Turn off the breaker for the oven before you do this.)

My husband took the control panel off of the upper oven and found a wiring diagram. In the text, it said there was a manual reset for each oven in the access panel for each one. He opened the access panel for the lower oven and found the reset button in the middle of that area. He said it was a black circle with a red button in the middle. After reseting, we turned the breaker back on and everything works great!!

SOURCE: f7 error code

Hi
On a GE range oven F7 indicates either a function pad button is stuck or the clock on the oven is malfunctioning

On the 99 Range oven F7 indicates a shorted Clear/Off Key due to membrane switch or a shorted control or connector

On the GE XL44 Self Clean Oven F7 is Stuck keypad or control relay malfunction

We got the F97 error code on our GE double ovens. We bought a new cooling fan and replaced it last night. It didn't work

Unfortunately, the error codes for appliances don't tell you the exact problem. F97 indicates a problem with the lower cooling fan that could be from the fan motor, the wiring, or the thermal switch that determines when the fan should come on or turn off. Make sure that the blades on the new fan rotate smoothly. That will rule out a bad replacement part. After that, you need to check the wiring harness. Make sure that there are no broken wires - check for continuity or missing insulation. You'll have to take the harness off both the connection at the fan and where it connects to the control board. Replace damaged wiring. Finally, you need to check the resistance across the switch and wiring to the switch. If the switch is bad, then you need to replace it.

I hope this helps.

I have GE model#JKP45WOP2WG double oven wall unit. Lower oven isn't heating up properly. Bottom of lower oven doesn't seem as hot as the top of the oven... replaced oven sensor, not

Most double wall ovens are technically two separate oven boxes. The lower oven box has its bake, boil elements, high limit thermostat and ofcourse its own oven sensor. If the lower oven box boil is working good and less heat on bake feature may suggest that the bake element is burned out and only getting preheated with boil element. Just a suggestion here

F2 Failure Code after cleaning cycle on GE Double

f-2 is usually a runaway oven temp which most of the time means a bad oven sensor.try replacing this first.

Only bottom of the electric double wall oven works . lts a 1969 G.E.

If you can, test for power to the element in the top oven. If there is power coming to the element, it could be that the element is bad and can be replaced. If there is now power coming to the top oven there could be a more serious issue in a 40 year old oven

We have a double wall oven which is 16 years old. The top oven doesn't heat above 150 and the bottom oven is overheating...the oven said 375 and an oven temperature gauge said 450. Is this fixable or do I...

I have the same issue. Only answer I found was the elements may be burned out. The bottom oven is separate (knobs).Go to GE site and see how to adjust the thermostat (behind a knob).

GE electric double oven

Colin, the TCO is located on the back of the oven. It will open L2 to the heating element in the event it is open. If this TC0 opens it will not show any error codes. This is for the 27 inch wall oven models only. Catriver...post back.
